A few more hours and it will be 2014!! This year has been lots of ups and downs, but overall, I'm contented and happy times which I enjoyed. Lol.
This year's Christmas was the first time I spent time with my university good friend. Lol. Shopped the whole day at Suntec City and spent money!! OMG!! My money... gone.. T_T just for a dress and 2 pairs of shoes like cost a bomb, even though it is less than $100, I still think that it's damned expensive. Singapore's stuff are really expensive...
Has been quite busy at work even though it's year end because my colleague was on leave. Lol. Didn't get to study any Japanese at all. >_<
Last Saturday, went to watch Baby Metal concert at Scape*. I'm not really a fan of them but because there were free tickets, therefore I went to watch. Hmm, they do have some nice songs. I kind of envy them that they have the courage to go overseas to perform when they are just so young. The band consists of one 16-year-old girls and two 14-year-old girls.
Still no plans for New Year, I guess I just go along with the flow!
Recent Anime
- Coppelion
---- Finally finished it. It's a great and happy ending!
- Little Busters! Refrain ~
---- YAY! I love the ending!!
- Minami-ke Taidaima (3rd season of Minami-ke)
----- Can't believe that I survived till the 3rd season. I feel that this season is nicer to watch. I wondered why.. Lol.. This season's songs are better too!!
- Naruto
----- OMG!! Obito is a bad guy afterall. I think because Rin died that made him change into a whole new person. Poor Kakashi! Hope he can recover from the shock soon.
Recent Manga
- Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle
---- This is the first time I can't stand the anime from a manga. Lol. But, the manga was pretty good. Sakura was really useless in this manga but she always tried her best to be useful. Syaoran was doing great. Actually, I still prefer Cardcaptor Sakura's story. Lol.

Didn't get to blog for the past days.. OMG!! Xmas Eve today!!
Sorry guys and gals that I didn't blog for quite a number of days as computer is out of my reach. I was on leave from work and as some of you know, my computer is located at my boyfriend's house. I was out mostly everyday except for today. Before I knew it, it is already that close to Christmas. It's Xmas Eve!!
Ok. I need to think back what I did for the past days. Lol.
Hmmm... I attended my cell group's Xmas party last Fri. There is only one game but it was pretty funny. The game is to dress one person from our group as one of the Bible characters. As usual, we chose the perfect person (Lol.. we have always been choosing him when we are in the same group) and dress him as David. But then, he refused and ask the other person (a gal) to help to be David. In the end, we dressed him as Golaith and dressed the gal as David. Lol. When they present themselves in front of everyone. They did a small skit of David throwing a stone using a slinger towards Golaith. Golaith then fell to the ground. Lol!!
Here's the dress-up photo!!
Mother Mary won the game!! That Baby Jesus is really cute!! Good Job!!
Here's the group photo!!
The following day, I went to ice-skating at Kallang Leisure Park It's been a long time I ever tried ice-skating. That was like over 8 years ago? Lol. Ice-skating is scary but fun. I fell thrice that day. Lol. I think should go ice-skating once in while. I prefer Kallang Leisure Park as it's real ice, unlike in MBS or Jcube which use wax and alot of people can see you skating. At Kallang Leisure Park, it's a ice-skating shop, so you need to pay to go in to see people skate.
The next day is my boyfriend's niece birthday. They were having a BBQ and I helped out with the decorations. Here are some photos below.
The next day, I was on leave and had booked a dental appointment. Spent a total $110 only, can claim from company, although not all. =x That amount include $70 for scaling and polishing and $40 for Floride treatment (gel to be put onto the teeth to protect teeth from decaying). Interesting, new technique? After that, spent the day with my boyfriend and his family. Lol, went to City Square Mall at Farrer Park station. I didn't even know Farrer Park got new mall. Lol! That mall quite big, lots of shops, interesting restaurants which most people probably have not heard it before, or is it only me? Lol. Had western food at an Italian restaurant, went to Toys'R'us. My boyfriend's niece having wonderful time running about and pressing anything she can see. Then I thought, if she grow older, cannot bring her to such place as she would want everything. Lol. Now, she has short focus on things. I think don't need to buy alot of toys for the kids, just bring them to ToysR'us. Lol. My boyfriend bought me a foldable bicycle. Pretty cool!!~~ ^_^
I tried on my bike. I know how to cycle but very unstable. =( After that, ate Zi Cha at a coffee shop with my boyfriend's colleagues.
For today, I watched free movie (Hobbits Part 2) from my company for Xmas Gathering at The Cathay. So sad that there's Hobbits Part 3. Last year watched Part 1 with my company as well. Lol. Maybe next year watched Part 3 with my company. Had buffet before the movie, quite nice to eat. Just that, the curry is Tom Yam and I really hate Tom Yam. I was surprised that the air-con is not turned on. It was so hot and we all kept perspiring. Some of us brought gifts and we exchanged gifts~ Then at the buffet, there is no cold drinks except for Grass Jelly with Sea Coconut dessert. Luckily, it turned colder during the movie. During the movie, there is free popcorn and a can of Coke. After movie, went to ate at Aston with my previous project team~~

Danny Choo's Culture Japan website
Was thinking of reading Danny Choo's Culture Japan website (http://www.dannychoo.com/) and found that there are actually some interesting stuff at the website. It has short manga (coloured) episodes with translated English for people who are learning Japanese, that really makes learning Japanese fun. The manga page is at this link http://www.dannychoo.com/en/posts/tag/moemanga/landscape. Really quite interesting!! While looking through the site, I saw the title "How to write a resume" at this link http://www.dannychoo.com/en/post/26413/How+to+write+a+resume.html. He had put his resume at that link too. He is really a remarkable person with so many achievements. Seriously, I don't think I can be such a person. Lol. But I admit I don't really like challenges and don't like to compete with people, which makes me a happy-go-lucky person. I really do enjoy just doing what I like to do. Lol.
However, I still do hope I can achieve something using Japanese. Therefore, I really want to try my best in completing till Japanese Proficiency Language Test (JLPT) N1. Though I don't know if I can make it to the end, I will continue to work hard and do all I can to learn as much as I could. I still have over 4000 Japanese words to memorize. It sounds tough but as long as I do bit by bit, I can make it, I think. Lol.
(Yesterday, I came across the Japanese word [unga]. If you look it as a Chinese character, the meaning becomes [a fortune river]. Lol!! But, the real meaning is not that. In English, [unga] means [canal]. Really quite funny. Lol!!)

New Eating Place at NUH Medical Centre
Today, we saw an advertisement of a new Penang food restaurant at NUH Medical Centre (Circle line - Kent Ridge), we decided to have lunch over there. However, unfortunately, the restaurant is crowded and alot of people queuing for it. So, we ate at Ya Kun instead. I had Mee Rebus. Had never add any food at Ya Kun except for their Kaya toast before. The Mee Rebus is quite nice, it's quite spicy at the start, but slowly got used to the taste.
Yesterday, I was on the bus, and there was a young boy (primary school) with a Samsung tablet in his hands. His father is sitting beside him. He began to watch a Youtube video with the Samsung tablet. And guess what, it's Annoying Orange video. LOL!! And the Annoying Orange is singing the famous song "What does the fox says?". The lyrics had changed and title became "What does the sock says?". View the following link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J19z4VTCR9M if you are interested in watching the video. Lol. It was damned funny!!
(Earlier on, I was doing my homework. I was stuck at this phrase [nani ka ni tsuke]. The meaning that was written on the sheet of paper is [nani ka aru tabi ni]. Seriously, what does that mean? Totally 'question mark' above my head. So, I decided to search from the Internet. In the end, found out that the meaning is [one way or another]. I was trying to process the meaning, then I thought, isn't it the same as [anyway]? I really seldom use [one way or another]. Lol. Then I think, I better find some examples to really understand it. Then, I found this link, http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/leaf/jn2/164506/m0u/.)
(Examples from the link..)
('One way or another' feeling is shown on the face. Guess the situation is that the person don't have a definite answer to a question?)
(One way or another, I was taken care of by someone.)
(Oooo. I see, there are even such examples. I'm glad that I found the answer and Google is really the best.)

Fun Day with my dear Secondary School friends!!
Lol, yesterday met my friends at Junction10 (last time known as Ten Mile Junction) in Bukit Panjang (BP) area. Almost all my secondary school friends stay in BP area as last time my secondary school is at that area. They gave me birthday and xmas presents. They are so nice!~ Again yesterday brought back a big plastic bag of presents (a bag and a wrapped present, have yet to unwrap it). Thanks so much, my dear friends!! Lol, haven't been to Junction10 every since it changed from Ten Mile Junction. I remembered having A&W at Ten Mile Junction before. So sad that A&W is no longer in SG. =(
So, yesterday, we went to Teoh Heng to sing karaoke. I'm wondered if I haven't gone to KBox for a long time as there seems to be alot of Japanese songs in Teoh Heng, compared to the super expensive KBox. My friend said that Teoh Heng takes less time than KBox to update the database. Lol, KBox too big?? So happy to find those Japanese songs which I had yet to sing in KBox. But sad that I wasn't able to sing all that I wanted to sing. I WANT TO SING MORE!!! Lol. But then, it was really cheap compared to KBox. Only $20 for the room, only can sing 3 hours though (Kbox is 4 hours, I think.).
After karaoke, we went to the Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ at Junction10. This is the 3rd branch of the restaurant I went to. So far, went to United Square branch (3 times) and Tampines branch (2 times). Funny thing is, there is Ginseng porridge yesterday at the restaurant. OMG!! It was damned nice and small little ginseng is within the porridge. Damned shiok!! But funny thing is that, they don't have fresh onions and garlic unlike in the other 2 branches. They only have what they call Onion Salad which marinated with sour sauce. But whatever! I BBQ the onion salad so that the BBQ meat will taste nicer. Lol!!
After dinner, we took the free shuttle bus from Junction10 to Choa Chu Kang interchange. OMG! Didn't know that they have free shuttle bus, one of the marketing strategy to make people go to ulu places, huh. Over at Lot 1, we went to have dessert at Hong Kong dessert store. Funny!! They don't have the shaved ice dessert. I thought they have?? Anyway, I had mango, pomelo and sago. It was good but not as good as at Ah Chew dessert (Bugis).
And.. the day ended just like that. Time really flies.
Was listening to some songs which I didn't get to sing yesterday, found out that there is this Japanese Kanji (Chinese characters) which I have seen it in several song lyrics. So, I check out the word from Denshi Jisho at the link, http://jisho.org/words?jap=%E8%BA%8A%E8%BA%87&eng=&dict=edict.
Interesting, the word 躊躇う (tamerau) means to hesitate. Cool!

(Difference betweem [kimi no baka] & [kimi wa baka], [ukabu] & [uku])
(I was asked a particular question by a friend.)
(Usually we say "Kimi wa baka" to say that the person is stupid. But then, how come in anime, it appears to be "Kimi no Baka"? [no] is usually used to describe belonging, for example "Watashi no hon" (watashi-I,mine,my,me) (hon-book) to say "my book".)
(I watched lots of anime, but I didn't realize this, so I didn't know the answer. Yesterday, I asked my teacher during Japanese lesson. My teacher says that [no] is also used to emphasize. Therefore, "Kimi no Baka" is to emphasize that the person is really stupid. Lol.)
(Example: [Bara ga nai Hanaya] becomes [Bara no nai Hanaya])
*(Bara-rose), (~ga nai-don't have), (Hanaya-flower shop)*
(A flower shop that does not have roses is weird, right? Therefore, [no] is used instead to emphasize that the flower shop does not have roses.)
(Interesting, isn't it? Hahaha..)
(Another thing, while studying the N2 vocabulary list, I came across 2 words, [ukabu-float] and [uku-float]. Isn't it the same meaning?? After searching for their differences in the Internet, one person explained its differences. The link is http://questionbox.jp.msn.com/qa979068.html.)
([ukabu] is often used to say the state that it is floating on surface of the water.
[uku] is often used to say the movement of floating from the bottom of the water to the surface of the water.)
(Hmm... Can I believe in this explanation? I decided to ask my teacher to confirm.)
(Even though [ukabu] is a verb of saying something is floating, but it is used to expressed the state of floating.Whereas, [uku] is expressing the movement of floating.)
(Japanese is quite difficult, huh. Haha. But I'm not gonna give up!! I will work hard!!)
(Anyway, I finished the drawing which I had attached the original drawing previously. I'm a little disappointed that I had drawn it wrongly as there are alot of miscalculations. For example, the person that should be in front, I drawn it till the person is at the back. OMG!! I think you all could tell the difference. But, I think this bad drawing had helped me to improve my drawing a little as I need to think of how to draw some parts which are not in the original drawing. Hope you all enjoy finding the differences!! LOL!)
I discovered some parts which are not complete, so I edit it again and going to upload it again. LOL!

LOL!

Manga - Shugo Chara (漫画・しゅごチャラ)
Lol. It's been a while when I had finished watching Shugo Chara's anime which spanned across 3 seasons.
The anime is about kids having dreams (what they want to be) in the form of eggs. When the egg hatched, a Guardian character (spirit) will appear. Each Guardian character will have a certain personality or ability. With the Guardian character, the person is able to transformed into someone whom they want to be and able to perform magic. Each child mostly has only 1 Guardian character, but some characters in the story has more than 1 Guardian character. The main female character, Amu Hinamori, has 4 Guardian characters.
Today, I suddenly thinking of wanting to know the end of Shugo Chara. From what I recall, Amu is not dating with anyone even when the anime had finished airing. Maybe, I remembered it wrongly? Lol. In the end, I went to read the manga. I read the final chapter and was shocked to find out the result.

OMG!! Amu is really together with Ikuto. But what was most shocking is that Utau is together with Kuukai! Anyway, so happy that the ending is this way!! So happy for them~~ ^_^

My First Work using Wacom tablet!!
I created my first work using Clip Studio Paint and my Wacom Intuous tablet!! It was quite difficult to use and need to be abit used to it. But, I still tried and managed a new drawing with colouring. Clip Studio Paint is really cool! Tried a number of interesting stuffs like Paintbrush, Pencil, different layers, creating alot of different colour schemes. So cool!!! Now.. now.. enjoy my work below! ^_- The drawing is done based on the comments from my boyfriend. Lol.
Can you guess which anime character is this? Hehehe...
Anyway, yesterday, I went to eat at Ssikkek Korean BBQ at Tampines1 with my boyfriend, his friend and my friend. Actually, I prefer the branch at United Square. United Square has Ginseng soup but the branch at Tampines does not have it. =( Then, we went to Starbucks. Starbucks as usual, always full of people. =( We managed to find seats but we need to split, so in the end, I sit with my friend, my boyfriend sit with his friend, tables are a distance away.
Yesterday, I also went to Popular Bookstore to buy assessment books for my student. Next year, he will be Primary 5. Time really flies. I taught him when he was K2, now he is going to be Primary 5 student already. Lol. Anyway, saw lots of parents buying books for their children and the assessment books are limited. I couldn't find the assessment books I want. No choice. Have to get alternative books. =( I guess this is a bad time to get assessment books. Lol. But I really want to start teaching Primary 5 syllabus, so that I will not be too late and I can teach at a slower pace.
Looking through the Primary 5 syllabus... OMG!! Science -> Cell Diagram (Chroloplasts, Nucleus, Cell Membrane...)?? In Primary 5? I remember doing it in Secondary. Lol. Mathematics -> Using calculator to calculate addition of fractions.. Did I do that in Primary? Not that I know of. Lol. Poor kids nowadays..
Hope that I can teach him well for this Primary 5 and soon PSLE.. Gonna get stressed!!

(The difference between [ikou] & [igo])
(Asked my teacher about the difference between [ikou - after this, from now on] and [ikou - thereafter, since]. Firstly, [ikou] must have a word to attach in front of it, in order to use it. Whereas, [igo] can be used without any word attaching to it. )
。 (Examples..)
(Also, [ikou] is used to express things that happen continuously after a certain event. [igo] is used to express things that happen after the point of an event.)
。(Examples..)
(Ever since the Meiji Era, Japan started to advance quickly.)
(From now on, please take care of yourself.)
。(New words)
(Not economical)
(Yesterday after class, a classmate who came back from Japan, brought delicious food for us. The food is called Amanohashidate no Koibitotachi. It resembles the Shiroi Koibito (from Tokyo). Amanohashidate is a place in Kyoto. The food is really delicious! Thank you so much!!)
(After that, I took a photo with my classmates and my teacher in front of the school's Christmas tree! As the tree has the smell of pine tree, everyone said that the tree is the real Christmas tree! Everyone with happy looks, took a photo using Yoshimi's IPAD. The design of the photo is also done by Yoshimi. Thanks, Yoshimi!! It was so fun!!)

(Interesting blogs discovered! And... My new song!)
(I mentioned before that I came to know a nice Japanese, do you all remember? Anyway, she introduced me a Japanese blog at http://jipangnet.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-603.html . If you like, please take a look.)
(Today, while I was searching for [igo-after this, from now on] and [ikou-thereafter,since]'s difference, I came across an interesting title. Words learnt from the Anime-Naruto. The author of translated some of the famous lines from Naruto into Chinese. The blog link is http://www.pkusky.com/html/view_1446.htm. That link also have some other links which have some interesting topics. All Japanese are translated into Chinese.)
(Hmm.. I'm feeling a little embarrassed now. After hearing the song [Shiokaze no Harmony] from Anime-Tari Tari, I imagined and felt the cool breeze where all the people gathered together, enjoying the times together, reminds me of when I am having Japanese lesson. So, following the melody (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhto9Gmuw4w) of the song, I decided to create my own lyrics.
(Finally, I am able to start leaning new JLPT N2 vocabulary words. Had been stuck with 100 words for the past 2 weeks. Because I want to take N2 exam in 2 years time, I thought that I should start memorizing the words now.)
あんまり (too~, so~, awful, terrible)
委員 いいん (a committee, a committee member)
いかが (what; how about)
行き いき/ゆき (way to ~)
(By the way, my classmates took N2 exam just last Sunday. Both of them said that it's too difficult. I wonder what should I say to comfort them. But, as the results has not been out yet, I hope they passed their exams.)
My boyfriend bought me a drawing tablet!! So happy!!
I can finally do some drawings without paper!! What should I draw next? Characters from Magi? Kyoukai no Kanata? or Zetsuen no Tempest? OMG! So many things that I wanna draw. XD
