Lol, yesterday met my friends at Junction10 (last time known as Ten Mile Junction) in Bukit Panjang (BP) area. Almost all my secondary school friends stay in BP area as last time my secondary school is at that area. They gave me birthday and xmas presents. They are so nice!~ Again yesterday brought back a big plastic bag of presents (a bag and a wrapped present, have yet to unwrap it). Thanks so much, my dear friends!! Lol, haven't been to Junction10 every since it changed from Ten Mile Junction. I remembered having A&W at Ten Mile Junction before. So sad that A&W is no longer in SG. =(
So, yesterday, we went to Teoh Heng to sing karaoke. I'm wondered if I haven't gone to KBox for a long time as there seems to be alot of Japanese songs in Teoh Heng, compared to the super expensive KBox. My friend said that Teoh Heng takes less time than KBox to update the database. Lol, KBox too big?? So happy to find those Japanese songs which I had yet to sing in KBox. But sad that I wasn't able to sing all that I wanted to sing. I WANT TO SING MORE!!! Lol. But then, it was really cheap compared to KBox. Only $20 for the room, only can sing 3 hours though (Kbox is 4 hours, I think.).
After karaoke, we went to the Ssikkek Korean Grill BBQ at Junction10. This is the 3rd branch of the restaurant I went to. So far, went to United Square branch (3 times) and Tampines branch (2 times). Funny thing is, there is Ginseng porridge yesterday at the restaurant. OMG!! It was damned nice and small little ginseng is within the porridge. Damned shiok!! But funny thing is that, they don't have fresh onions and garlic unlike in the other 2 branches. They only have what they call Onion Salad which marinated with sour sauce. But whatever! I BBQ the onion salad so that the BBQ meat will taste nicer. Lol!!
After dinner, we took the free shuttle bus from Junction10 to Choa Chu Kang interchange. OMG! Didn't know that they have free shuttle bus, one of the marketing strategy to make people go to ulu places, huh. Over at Lot 1, we went to have dessert at Hong Kong dessert store. Funny!! They don't have the shaved ice dessert. I thought they have?? Anyway, I had mango, pomelo and sago. It was good but not as good as at Ah Chew dessert (Bugis).
And.. the day ended just like that. Time really flies.
Was listening to some songs which I didn't get to sing yesterday, found out that there is this Japanese Kanji (Chinese characters) which I have seen it in several song lyrics. So, I check out the word from Denshi Jisho at the link, http://jisho.org/words?jap=%E8%BA%8A%E8%BA%87&eng=&dict=edict.
Interesting, the word 躊躇う (tamerau) means to hesitate. Cool!
