Friend's company's Dinner and Dance~ / April Fool's Day / Pink Diamonds!!! / Recent Anime, Songs

Last Friday, my friend had a Dinner and Dance. She had asked me to lend her my Yukata (Japanese summer traditional costume) and help her to wear for the dinner. So glad that I managed to help her wear the yukata successful. I'm actually quite worried that I couldn't do a good job. But my friend got the prize for Best Dressed! So happy!! ^_^ We even bought Ayakata drink, so that she can pose as Maiko and upload to Instagram in order to stand to win an air-ticket to Japan.

I knew she pose it for me so that I can have a chance win it. Haha. I really hope I can win though. The results will be out at the end of April 2014.

In the morning, I went to Takashimaya and saw a Rakuten (an online shopping for Japanese goods) roadshow. Rakuten's website is as follows, http://global.rakuten.com/en/. I can stand to win a ticket to Japan if I register at their booth. So, I went to register and look through the different booths. I received vouchers but I must spend at least $80 before 31 Mar 2014!!?!! O_o OMG! In the end, I didn't use any vouchers. Haha.. But I do hope that I can win the free plane ticket to Japan. Again, results will be out at the end of April 2014.

Today is April Fool's Day in Singapore. Had anyone done any pranks? Lol. For me, I didn't do any. Just hopeful that I won't get tricked by anyone today. Especially when I am teaching tuition later at night, hope that I won't be pranked by my student. Lol!!

One of the Japanese studio sent me a booklet of rings. That is when I encountered pretty pink diamonds. They cost about SGD $3000 for each ring. So expensive!! 風立ちぬ (The Wind Rises) / おいしかったケッキ！(Superb cake) /見方を変えての作文 (Changing your viewpoint composition)

先週末、友達の誕生日をお祝いました。まず美味しいケッキを食べました。ケッキは日本の店から買いました。リンクはwww.cakeflor.com.sgです。誕生日の歌を歌いました。誕生日の友達が願いを言って、ロウソクを吹いて消してもらいました。そのあと、宮崎駿さんの最後の映画「風立ちぬ」を見ました。

(Last weekend, I went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Firstly, we ate a super delicious cake. The cake is bought from a Japanese bakery. Here's their website,www.cakeflor.com.sg. After which, we sang birthday song, my friend made a wish and blew the candles. After that, we went to watch Hayao Miyazaki's last movie "The Wind Rises".)

(Hearing from my Japanese teacher, using formal form of Japanese language seems to make it feel that it's written by children. Therefore, from now on, I will be using plain form of Japanese language instead.)

その映画はちょっとがっかりした。昔の頃で飛行機を作るのはすごいと思うけど、偉い人の奥さんが死んでしまうなんて悲しすぎる。やっぱり、比べると、「ラプッタ」の方が好きだ。そう言っても、昔の技術はすごい！昔の人はそんなに難しいことを理解できるって、今の人はそんなに頭が良いかしらと思わせる。

(I am a little disappointed with this movie. Although the olden technology of making airplanes shown in the movie is really interesting, the wife of the main character who died in the movie became a too depressing movie. After comparing, I still like "Laputa" more than this movie. Anyway, the olden airplane technology is really amazing! Thinking how the olden people can understand such difficult stuff makes me wonder that the people nowadays are not so smart. Lol.)

最近はとても忙しかった。月の末はリポートがしなければならない。その上、日本語の宿題は作文もある。「見方を変えて」というテーマだ。今まで色んな体験したことをきっかけで見方を変えることができたことを書いた。傍にいる天使と悪魔のイメージのアイデアまでも書いた。面白いだろう？

(It was really busy recently, I had to do monthly report at the end of each month. In addition, I had composition to write for Japanese homework. The theme is "Changing your viewpoint". Until now, after experiencing of all the various stuff, I am now able to change my viewpoint of different things. This is what I wrote for my composition. I even wrote the image of having an angel and a devil who are by our side all the time. Lol. Isn't it interesting?)

「体のいい泥棒」の意味は？(The meaning of [Tei no ii Dorobou]?)／宮崎駿の映画は最高だった！(Hayao Miyazaki's Movies were the best!!)

日本語のクラス中で「体のいい泥棒」の面白い言葉を聞きました。英語で[virtual robbery]と書いてあります。[virtual robbery]を考えると、変だと思います。[virtual]はゲームのイメジがするし、[robbery]は泥棒がすることだし、つまり、ゲームの泥棒になること？それは私を笑わせました。先生に聞いて、本当の意味は実際に泥棒じゃありませんけど、行動は泥棒みたいです。例えば、男の人のせりふ「女は体のいい泥棒だ」。なぜかと言うと、女の人はいつも男の人が自分に高いものを贈らされるの傾向がありそうです。ひどいですね。でも、この現実的な世界にとって、半分正しいかもしれませんね。

(During my class, we came across an interesting phrase "Tei no ii Dorobou". Its English meaning is "virtual robbery", sounds weird to me. "virtual" gives me an image of being in a game and "robbery" is what a robber does. Meaning, being a robber in a game? Anyway, after asking my Japanese teacher, it actually means you are not a robber in reality but doing something that a robber does. For example, males usually say this phrase "Onna wa tei no ii dorobou da" which means females are like virtual robbers. The reason is that females always tends to want males to give them expensive gifts. So bad!! But I think in this realistic world, that might just be half correct.)

先週末は宮崎駿の映画を４つ見ました。映画館で午後１時４５分から午後１１時４５分までおわりました。大変だったが、本当に最高だった！天空の城ラピュタと魔女の宅急便と紅の豚ともののけ姫です。ラピュタが一番好きと思います。感動しました！ロボトの皆さんはかわいそうです！誰もいないの城に何年も住んで、ずっと城を守りました。魔女の宅急便の黒い猫は好きです。とても頭がよくて、かわいいです。紅の豚は一番面白い話です。でも、終わるとき、「ええ！もう終わった」と思って、がっかりました。もののけ姫の物語は現実的な世界のように、いつも間違う敵に戦うと気がします。そういっても、全部最高の物語です。

(Last week, I went to watch 4 Hayao's Mizaki's movies. I watched them in cinema from 1.45pm to 11.45pm. It's was tiring but really fun!! The movies are "The castle in the Sky: Laputa", "Kiki's Delivery Service", "Porco Rosso" and "Princess Mononoke". I like "Laputa" the best! So touched by its story. The robots in the movie are so pitiful, staying in the abandoned castle for years and always protecting the castle. I like the cat in "Kiki's Delivery Service". The cat is so intelligent and so cute!! "Porco Rosso" is the most entertaining. However, when it was finished, I was like "the show had ended?" which made me quite disappointed with the ending. "Princess Mononoke", just like the realistic world, makes me feel that people are always fighting with the wrong enemy. Nevertheless, all the movies were great!!)

作った歌詞の仕事をまた始まる～(Starting my work on the lyrics again~) ／面白いニュース (Interesting news) ／新しい絵を描いた！(My new drawing!)

前が言ったのことについて、「潮風のハーモ二ー」というアニメの曲によると、自分で歌詞を作った仕事をまた始まります。彼の友達は音楽制作を勉強しています。いま、その人の力で、歌詞をリズムと合わせるために、色々な歌詞の言葉は変わらなければなりません。T_T 大変ですけど、楽しかった！みんな、もうちょっと待ってくださいね。楽しんでさせたいから、私は頑張ります！

(Regarding something which I had mentioned before. That time, I based on anime song "Shiokaze no Harmony" and created my own lyrics. I have started the work of singing it. My boyfriend's friend is studying Music Production. With the help of this person, I had to change a lot of the lyrics in order to fit them with the rhythm. T_T Although it is a lot of hard work, it was fun! Everyone, please wait for a little while longer. I want to let everyone enjoy the song, so I will work hard for it!!)

Both Sorakuen (相楽園）and Egeyama Park（会下山公園）are in Kobe. Fortunately, based on Google Map, from Osaka (Recuerdo's shop location) to Sorakuen only takes 35 mins drive.

Sorakuen is a very nice place with both Japanese and Western buildings. The best part about these 2 places is that they are nearby (15 mins drive). Below is a picture of the train line service which has these 2 places and the hotspring which I want to go. So Cool! They are all so near!!

So Happy! I am still confirming the above prices with the studio but more or less, the prices are as such. It's half as much cheaper than Lavie Bridal Studio (http://www.la-viephotography.com/index2.html). Lavie is a really good Japanese bridal studio but it's simply too expensive for me. T_T The reason that Lavie is good is that they have a translator that accompanies you throughout the shoot. For Recuerdo, I have to depend on my Japanese skills. I hope I can make it. =x

Other than emailing all the bridal Studios, I was spending time marking my student's PSLE paper. In case if anybody who doesn't know what is PSLE, PSLE stands for Primary School Leaving Examination. It is an Singapore's national exam taken by Primary 6 students (12 years old) and its score determines if the student gets to a good school or not. Anyway, PSLE is really tough, even I need lots of time to just do one of those questions. >_<

By the way, I went to this good restaurant at Plaza Singapura for the last weekend. The name is Lao Beijing. The shop's website is http://www.laobeijing.com.sg/. They have delicious Xiao Long Bao with superb nice soup within the bun. Sorry that I didn't take any photos. That time, we were so hungry then we all started eating when the food came. Lol. 「アニメ．アイカツ！」にはそんな家族があったんだ！～ (There is such a family in anime "Aikatsu!"~)

いま、「アイカツ！」というアニメを夢中で見ています。びっくりのことに、主役のいちごちゃんのいつもいなかった父親は出場しました！お父さんはとてもハンサムで、子供のことを大事にしていて、完璧な人です。例えば、お父さんは仕事が忙しくても、いちごとの約束を守りました。それに、帰ったばかりのに、いちごの練習を見るために、学校へ行きました。そのあと、息子の頼智（らいち）とサッカをやりました。

(I'm totally engrossed in watching the anime "Aikatsu!". Surprising, main character, Ichigo, her father who is always not at home, suddenly appeared! Her father is quite handsome and always take his children's things to heart. Like, even though his work is very busy, he still kept the promise he made with Ichigo. When he just came back home, in order to see her daughter's training, he went to Ichigo's school. After that, he went to play soccer with Ichigo's brother, Raichi.)

いちごちゃんの母親も美人な人で、ご主人の忙しい仕事を訴えずに、子供を育て、営業をして、帰ったご主人においしい食べ物をあげました。

(Ichigo's mum is a beauty. Without complaining about her husband's busy work, she brought her children up, does her business and even cooked delicious food for her husband when he came home.)

見るだけで、ご家族の暖かいを感じました。本当に感動しました。私の家族はそのような家族なら、幸せでしょうね。いいな！！

(I can feel the warm feeling of this family just by watching this anime. I'm so touched by this family. If I have such a family, I think it will be so blessed.)

ヴェデイングの前撮りは大変だ！／黒執事の映画 (Finding pre-wedding shoots is so difficult! / Kuroshitsuji's Movie)

最近は毎日、ヴェデイングステジオを探しています。とても大変です！日本語は私の国語じゃないから、日本のサイトを読むとき、時間も独力も必要です。一つのヴェデイング会社は私の日本語が上手だとほめられました。嬉しいけど、私はまだまだと思います。そういえば、残念なことに、二つのヴェデイング会社は桜の季節で撮る約束が埋まってしまったと言いました。T_T がっかりました！安くて、いいヴェデイングステジオを見つけるように待っています！神様、助けてください！

(Recently every day, I've been looking for wedding studios. Super tiring! As Japanese is not my main language, I need lots of time and effort to read the Japanese websites. I was praised that my Japanese is pretty good by one of the companies. I felt happy but I still think I have a long way to go to be really good at Japanese. Lol. Anyway, sad thing is that there are already 2 companies that told me that they can't take in any more appointments during the Sakura season next year as they have too many. T_T So disappointed! I hope I will be able to find a cheap and good wedding studio. God, please help me!!)

この映画「黒執事」はアニメと漫画がありますよ。漫画を読んでいないけど、アニメを見ました！とても暗いの物語です。でも、この筋書きが好きです。主役のシエルは若者なのに、大人のように営業をしています。シエルの執事のセバスチャンは何でもできて、完璧な人です。二人は素晴らしいと思います。この映画はどうなるかしらかと楽しみに待っています。^_^

(This movie "Kuroshitsuji" has anime and manga versions too. Although I didn't read its manga, I watched its anime already. It's a very dark story but I like the storyline. The main character, Ciel, was a young boy but he does his business like an adult. Ciel's butler, Sebastian, is a perfect person who can do any and every thing. I think both of them are really remarkable. I look forward to this movie on how it will become. ^_^)

クラスメイトの結婚式 (Japanese classmate's Wedding)／[アニメ・アイカツ！とマギThe kingdom of magic] (Anime: Aikatsu! and Magi Kingdom of Magic)／Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2014

嬉しい！！クラスメイトの結婚式を誘われたなんて、ちょっと信じられない。なぜかというと、友達だけど、すごい間を知っていないし、毎週三時間のクラスだけ会えるし、つまり、そんなに仲良くじゃないです。クラスメイトは思ったより、いい人だと思います。結婚式は来月の十九日で、チャンギ空港の近くのホテルに行っているらしいです。場所は遠いと思っているけど、絶対に行くつもりです。クラスメイトと先生が行ければ、もっと楽しくなりますね。

(I'm so happy!! I was invited by my Japanese classmate to attend his wedding dinner. I'm really surprised!! As we know each other for not too long, only see one another 3 hours per week, yet, he invited us to his wedding. He is really a generous guy! His wedding seems to be at a hotel near Changi Airport on 19 Apr 2014. Although Changi Airport is quite far from my home but I will still go! Can't wait to go! Hope that my classmates and my sensei will be able to go too.)

「アイカツ！」というのはアイドルの活動を紹介するアニメです。彼女たちはスターライト学園でアイドルを練習しています。スターライト学園のアイドルの制服のきれいなデザインといったら、素敵だと思って、私も着たいです。演奏する前に、彼女たちは変換して、きれいな服を着て、歌ってはじめます。正直、デジタル録音が好きじゃない、が、このアニメの歌を聞ければ聞くほど、それを好きになりました。それで、筋書き（すじがき）はそんなに面白くないけど、キャラクターの中身は見ている人の心を打つ力があります。いつの間にか、次々のエピソードを見ています。だから、是非見てみましょう。

("Aikatsu" is an anime showing us the different idol activities. The girls attend Starlight Academy which develops people into idols. I like the Starlight Academy's uniform, it looks so nice! I even thought of wearing it. Lol! When the girls are performing, they transform their uniform to pretty clothes.  To be honest, I never really like digitalized recording. However, the more I listen to this anime's songs, the more I like it. Haha.. Anyway, the storyline might not be amazing, but these girls' inner qualities have the power to touch the hearts of the people who watched them. Lol! Without noticing anything, I watched episode after episode. That's why, everyone who is reading this, please try to watch them. ^_^)

「とマギThe kingdom of magic」の中の魔力はすごいです。主役のアラジンとアリババの相性は最高だった。どんなことを遭っても、彼らの一人が闇に込んでいっても、お互いに助け合います。それに、何のときでも、友人を信じて、質問するなし、助けてあげます。それは、すごいと思います。現実の世界はそんな友人があれば、どれほど優しい世界でしょう。そういっても、現実の世界は嫌いじゃないです。私たちは人間だと見えることになりますね。

(The magic in this anime "Magi: Kingdom of Magic" is pretty awesome. The main characters, Aladdin and Alibaba have great chemistry! No matter what happens, even if one of them fell into the dark side, the other one will do his best to help. No matter what thing is it, there are no questions asked of another, except to help the other person. I think all these are really amazing. If this real world has such good friends, I think this world will be really gentle and nice. But nonetheless, I don't hate this real world. This just to show that we are all humans. Lol.)

そして、毎年のAnime Festival Asia (AFA) は今年の二十月で行っているらしです。AFAが大好きの理由はシンガポールで日本の声優や様々のバンドなどを見えます。去年に来た声優さんは革命機ヴァルブレイブに演奏したの木村良平さんと逢坂良太さんでした。そして、アニメの歌のコンサートで、TM.Revolutionさん、水樹奈々さん、ELISAさん、angelaバンドが来ました。ほんとに楽しかった！水樹奈々さんは日本ですごく有名で、日本の仕事がいっぱいでも、シンガポールに来るのはびっくりました。水樹奈々さんが会ったとき、握手を交わして、まるで夢見たいです。今年の声優さんは誰ですかね。水樹奈々さんがまた会えれば、いいな！！楽しみにしている！！

(The annual Anime Festival Asia seems to be held in December this year. I love AFA because I get to see the Japanese artists in Singapore. Last year, the voice actors who came were from anime "Kakumeiki Valvrave (Valvrave the Liberator)", Kimura Ryohei and Osaka Ryota. While during the Anime Song concert, TM.Revolution, Nana Mizuki, ELISA and angela (band) came. Really fun!! Nana Mizuki is very famous and really busy in Japan, when she came, I was so surprised! I got to see Nana Mizuki and even shaked hands with her. That felt like a dream. OMG! I wondered who will be coming this year. Hope that I can meet Nana Mizuki again!! I look forward to it!!)
