As I mentioned before, we get to watch 15 minutes of NHK drama during Japanese class. Watched the 2nd episode, really funny, the story! This time, the main female character, Yoshiko, reached her destination at the lovely mansion at Miyazaki. And guess what, there was already a man staying there. The company managing the mansion made a mistake by allowing 2 people to book the same mansion. OMG!! The man she met there was none other than the man who helped her with her baggage at the airport. Anyway, the man was really mean!! Yoshiko was hungry and was going to cook but the man emphasized that those ingredients were his and she had to pay for those ingredients. The man cooked beef stew for himself but refused to give to Yoshiko to eat unless she paid it. So Mean!!
The beef stew should be pretty well done as Yoshiko kept getting lured by its smell. In the end, poor Yoshiko had to steal the beef stew in the middle of the night and bring the food to her room. Unfortunately, she realized that she had forgotten to take a spoon when she was about to eat. Poor Yoshiko, afraid that the man will notice, she did not go down to the kitchen again and used her bare hands to eat the food. As she still felt hungry, she went down to the kitchen again to get a second helping. To her astonishment, the man looked at her taking the food and was about to question her. She went back to her room to get money to pay to the man. The man smirked at her. This time, Yoshiko forgotten to take a spoon again. The man dangled the spoon in front of her and Yoshiko took it reluctantly. That's all for this episode.
Can't believe that a man can be so mean!! But one of my classmates mentioned that maybe some females will like man with such character. I laughed at that comment. Haha. That's probably possible. But we are all pretty sure that Yoshiko will end up with that man towards the end. Lol!

「アニメ．中二病でも恋がしたい！恋」(Anime: Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren)

このアニメが大好きです！二人は付き合っているけど、クラスメイとの前か、二人の前まで、いつも恥ずかしい顔をしています。そんな純粋の恋愛が好きです。勇太は竹馬の友(女の子)に会ったから、二人は仲良く姿を見て、立花は自分が羨むことが分からないので、変なことをしました。勇太は立花のことを知って、立花が不安にならないために、丹生谷さんに立花のことを頼んでしました。とても素敵！！二人の相性がいいですね！
(I love this anime. Even though they are going out with each other, in front of others and themselves, they always tend to be embarrassed. I like this kind of pure love. Ever since Yuuta met up with his female child-hood friend, looking at them enjoying together, Rikka did not understand her jealousy and started to do some random weird stuff. On the other hand, Yuuta knew that Rikka don't know how to handle the feelings between both of them, asked Nibutani-san for her help on Rikka. It's so amazing!! Yuuta and Rikka have great chemistry between them.)

Taichi (Taji)'s New Year Gathering / Beer Market / StarVista
Last weekend was another busy and fun weekend!
Firstly, I went to Taichi/Taji New Year Gathering. Tachi/Taji is a form of chinese martial arts if some of you didn't know. And yes, I am attending Taichi class for about 6 months already. As I have childhood phobia (ran and fell on my arm which caused my arm to be fractured and in turn my arm was put on cast for 6 months), I didn't dare to do any vigorous sport. Therefore, to me, Taichi is the best form of exercise for me. Lol. I do not need to worry about leg or arm sprains or fracture while exercising. Lol! Although the class consists of more aged people than young people, I totally don't mind it at all. It was fun doing Taiji with all the aged people!
Anyway, I thought the gathering was held at an open-air venue but I was wrong. T_T I only wore t-shirt, bermudas and slippers. OMG!! So embarrassing!! The venue is at the multi-purpose hall at Toa Payoh Community Centre. It is air-conditioned. Luckily, I didn't feel too cold while I was there. I'm quite sensitive to cold air. >_< That day was fun. There were lion dance, awarding-giving, magic performances and song singing. Even the God of Fortune was there to give out gifts! Here's some of the pictures taken!
The Chinese lady is awesome!! She can do magic tricks on umbrella and lots of umbrellas appeared on stage like Magic!!
The next day, I went to Beer Market @ Clarke Quay with my nanny's son and their cousins. As I don't drink alcohol, I drank the Fruit Punch selling at S$10. That was really expensive but it was as expected as no one will drink non-alcoholic drinks at a alcoholic store. Lol. The fruit punch was really tasty. Luckily the store has free-flow of plain water. If not, I think I will have trouble of buying the expensive non-alcoholic drinks or have trouble having sore throat due to dryness. We had pizzas, Calamari and chicken wings. Beer Market is an interesting store as its name says, the beer sold at this store are sold at fluctuating prices. The beer prices goes up and down like share prices. Here's some pictures!
Seriously, I have never seen such a long list of bill before. Lol. Maybe because I don't usually go drink. Lol. By the way, my this group of friends already planned for the next outing which is cycling. Can't wait to join them again! ^_^
The next day, I went to StarVista @ Buona Vista to celebrate a friend's birthday. Lol. We went to Hot Tomato restaurant. The food was nice and at a reasonable price of less than S$15 per meal. The manager there was really comical and like an entertainer. That day just nice there are Russian tourists visiting the store. The manager welcomed and introduced them to everyone in the shop. The manager even sang a Russian song for them. OMG! He has such a good and strong voice. So talented!! Everyone in the shop clapped along with the manager. Interesting!! After our main course, we went to Marble Slab Creamery for ice-cream dessert. The store had 50% discount for Lava cake that day. Lucky!!! We ordered the Lava cake and our individual ice-cream scoops. It was delicious!!
Can't believe that I am so lucky for these few days with all the good food at reasonable prices.

「漫画．我妻さんは俺のヨメ」(Manga: Wagatsuma-san wa Ore no Yome - Wagatsuma-san is my wife)
この漫画が好きです。面白くて、次々のページを読みつつけて、いつの間にか、最新のチャプタも読み終わりました。その漫画のおかげて、男子の考え方をちょっと分かるようになった。でも、そのあと、こんな気持ちを気づきました。それて、まるで私が男子になったかな。ｗｗｗ。まさか、そんなことがありますね。私が考えすぎるかもね。ｗｗｗ。(I like this manga. It's so interesting that I keep flipping page after page. Before I knew it, I finished reading the latest chapter. Thanks to this manga, I began to know a bit more about how guys think. Hmm. Interesting Drama and Collaboration!! / Anime Songs~~~
In my Further Advanced Japanese class, I get to watch NHK drama for 15 minutes for every lesson. The purpose is to train us in listening to the fast speaking Japanese people. After watching the drama without any subtitles, we will be given scripts from the drama. We are given to watch 女神の恋 (Megami no Koi - The Love of a Goddess). It was a very funny show. Lol!
Having only watched the first episode, I can only tell this much. There is this main female character who yearns to be married to someone she loved. Her actions are very exaggerating to the point that he can hug and kiss a pillar while daydreaming about her boyfriend and her having fun together. Lol!! She invited her boyfriend to a vacation to a cottage in Miyazaki prefecture. Being a department head, her boyfriend couldn't go in the end due to work, so she sets off by herself and waits for him there. On the way to Miyazaki, she brought so many luggage that she had exceeded the baggage limit. Luckily, a male character helped her with those. And that's the end of it. Lol. What will happen next? Can't wait to watch another episode during lesson!!

This morning, I'm looking through some anime news, there seems to have some interesting news. Robert Frazer, a tie maker, makes a collaboration with Mobile Suit Gundam. OMG!! That sounds cool!! I want to go!!! >_< I actually wanted to visit the Sword Museum in Tokyo during my Tokyo trip last year, but I didn't have enough time to visit. T_T I shall visit it the next time I go to Japan!!

OMG!! How can I not see it!! / Busy walking around Bras Basah!! / Ion Orchard!! / Kairosoft Games!!
It was a shock on Valentine's day last Friday. I had a $35 voucher for Swensens. In order to use it, you have to order $70 worth of food. My boyfriend had 2 main courses and a dessert while I have 1 main course and a dessert. We even called a side dish of Onion Rings. When we went to pay at the counter... [Sorry.. You can't use the voucher as today is Valentine's Day]. OMG!!! O_o I forgot all about it!! I did read the clause before but I had forgotten about it.. T_T In the end, spent $100plus..
My boyfriend helping out with the Total Defence roadshow at National Museum as a photographer for Singapore Navy. While waiting of him, I went around Bras Basah. I am quite suprised how near Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, Bugis, City Hall are so close to one another. Anyway, that's how the day goes....

It was a refreshing walk for the whole day!!
The next day, work as usual in the morning and went out with our friends~ Ate ramen/rice at Menya Musashi @ Ion Orchard. After that, went to Coffee Bean where I had Tiramisu cake. Hmm.. the cake is not really nice.. Not much of coffee taste.. Not much of alcohol taste as well.. Basically.. not much taste. Lol! While eating, I'm teaching some of them Basic Japanese. One of them start from scratch while the other had learnt at Bunka Language School before. Hope that the one who had start from scratch know how to read and write soon!! ~~

It's a game about building rooms for rental. The fun part about the game is that the people in your rental rooms can get married, have babies and see the babies grow to adults and finally to elderly. You can change their jobs to better paid jobs and so on. The furniture in the rooms have stats, so be sure that the furniture nurture their intelligence!!

You can even become a cupid and matchmake students into couples, which in turn boost their passion in studying. Be sure to have students with high percentage in passing into their preferred dream job and your school will soon be the most famous schools around where new students keep flowing into the school!!

(If it's me, I think I would choose Sasha. If Sasha is around, I do not have to worry about not having any food. She will probably grab from somewhere if there is no food left. Hahaha.. I love food!!)
宿題をしているうちに、「八百屋」の言葉に出会った。「八百屋」は「やおや」と読めて、野菜か果物を売る店です。「八百」は数でしょう？どうして、野菜か果物を売る店は「八百」となんの関連かしら。野菜と果物をたくさん売って、「八百」のお金をもらうこと？だから、「八百屋」の由来を調べました。
(While I was doing my homework, I came across this word 「八百屋」. It is read as [yaoya] and it means greengrocer. 「八百」means the number 800 in Chinese and Japanese. Why has the number 800 to do with selling vegetables and fruits? Lol. That is why, I went to research on the Internet.)

Busy Week again!! Cardcaptor Sakura Nendroid!!
Last week was a busy week again. I went to Teo Heng to sing karaoke with my boyfriend and our friends. We even lohei in the room. Lol! After the karaoke, we went to St. Games at The Cathay to play X-Box Band Hero and Wii's Raving Rabbids. Playing the drums and guitar in Band Hero is really cool, not to mention that we have professional drummer and singer with us. It was so fun!! Raving Rabbids is really a tiring game. It make you move your hands so much till it hurts. I think I had muscle aches after the game. =x But nonetheless, Raving Rabbids is an interesting game. I like one of the mini-game whereby you are supposed to shake the bottle of drink, open the cap, drink it and burp out the gas. The further you can burp, the more points you get. OMG lor!!! And guess what, the mini-game's name is as simple as "Burp". Lol!!
Next day, I went to a friend's condominium (condo) for his housewarming. The condo is really serene and hard to get there. I even lost my way there. Luckily, one of my friends who is going to the housewarming saw me waiting at the bus-stop and gave me a lift. I'm so lucky!! Really thank God!! We had BBQ. Sadly, when I saw alot of ants of a plate of some sticks of chicken wings, I quickly pick up the sticks and got a wood splinter stuck in my finger's skin. >_< I tried to get it out as much as I could and even with my friends helping me, I still left a bit of the splinter in my finger.. T_T After which, I went to my boyfriend's house and he helped me to take out the splinter. Part of my skin gone, it was damned painful!!! T_T
In Good Smile company's Facebook, they introduced the Kinomoto Sakura (Anime/Manga: Cardcaptor Sakura)'s Nendroid version. Cardcaptor Sakura is my all time favourites!! It has good storyline and characters!! It's so cute!!! Here's the picture.
Sakura has so many beautiful costumes!! Hope Good Smile comes out with more Sakura's nendroids. ^_^

I think if you watch the anime [Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!], you will probably understand it easily. LOL!!)

最初に戻ろう！N2の言葉を勉強しています。やっと、ちょっと暇になりました。「沖」は「おき」と読んでいます。幅広い海を表せる言葉です。そういえば、沖縄は「沖」の漢字と付けましね。なるほど、沖縄は確かに海の近い所ですね。だから、沖縄と呼びました。もう一つは「送り仮名」。「おくりがな」と呼びます。「送り仮名」は平仮名を漢字の後ろに付ける言葉です。
例えば～～
見る → 「る」は送り仮名です。
見た → 「た」は送り仮名です。
(OK. Let's get back to the top. I was studying the N2 vocabulary and found some interesting words. 「沖」read as [oki] means open sea. Then, I thought of 沖縄 (Okinawa). Isn't Okinawa near to the sea? Maybe that is why it's called Okinawa. Lol. Another word is 「送り仮名」read as [Okurigana]. It refers to the Hiragana words that are attached behind a Kanji.
For example:
見る → 「る」 is a type of Okurigana
見た → 「た」is a type of Okurigana)

Happy Chinese New Year (CNY), Everyone!
Woo!! Had been enjoying myself for CNY! Something special today is that I went to my nanny's mother's house for CNY. I had not been going for 10 over years. This time round, I get along well with them during this festive season. ^_- Here's the one of the pictures. This CNY, I Lohei for around 4 times. Best!!
Hmm, haven't been studying much of Japanese except on New Year Eve where I was too bored. Can't wait to take pictures with my classmates and Fujiwara-sensei, together with our completion certification of Advanced level. Time past so fast! Can't wait to start Further Advanced class next week. Heard from Fujiwara-sensei that there will be 15 mins of old short drama video every lesson. Hmm, wonder if I can make it. =x

Kakumei Valvrave (Valvrave the Liberator)
- I don't really like mecha shows as I think robot fight is abit lame. Lol. But I decided to give it a try as my friend is watching and it's one the popular anime. I liked it! I rate it 8.0/10.0. And I decided to change my FB cover pic with this anime best couple pic. Here's the pic! It's a super pretty picture!!
Golden Time
- One of the anime which I don't really crave for, but still wanted to finish it for the sake of finishing the anime.
Minami-ke Okaeri (Minami-ke 2nd season)
- Missed out this season. Had finished 3 other seasons. I like this anime but sad that there is no conclusion of any couples in the last season. =(

Wagatsume-san wa ore no yome (Wagatsume-san is my wife)
- My boyfriend says reminded him of our relationship, so I decided to go read it. It's really interesting. Lol. It's about a guy who can time slip to the future where he saw his future wife and how he try to change the current timeline so how the future could change to how he want it to be. Of course, there are some mistakes and he tried to fix it again. Lol.
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows)
- One of the anime which I liked quite alot, therefore, I decided to go read it. A very simple story of how a guy conquered girls for a purpose. And yet very complicated story plot as it deals with the past and the present. I don't really understand everything, but I still wanted to know the ending!!
