It had been a busy week again and I found that I had yet to finish all my Japanese homework. I need to finish before 12 Feb which is a memorable day as it is the first day of Further Advanced class. Lol. I had been a good student by always handing up my homework except for the last 2 weeks of Advanced class. Hope teacher will not be angry. =x As I am going to pass her a load of homework. Hehe.
For the past week, I went to a friend's ROM wedding at Chevrons Chalet. I had been to Chevrons before but I didn't know that the chalet is at the same place. The last time when I went to Chevrons was my secondary school Prom Night for Secondary 4 graduating students. I was happy yet sad. I was happy as being the first batch of students under my school, I didn't think we would even have benefits like Prom Night. I was sad as it was really difficult to dress up nicely and it wasn't my cup of tea to dress up. Anyway, my friend's wife is an Indian national. I think it is always very amazing to see couples of totally different cultures. I feel happy for them from the bottom of my heart and I hope they will stay together till death parts them.
Shortly after a few days, I went to my company's Chinese New Year (CNY) dinner. Company's dinner is usually held at Mount Faber Safra which is quite inconvenient. But this time round, we get to eat at a chinese restaurant (Ban Heng) at Harboufront Centre. The dinner was scrumptious with 10-course meals and we even get to eat sharkfin's soup! Though I feel bad for the sharks, but I do love sharkfin soup. Lol. Games were funny whereby tissue box is tied to each person's bottom, ping pong balls are inserted into the tissue box and the person is supposed to shake as many ping pong balls out. Another game is whereby the pedometer is wrap around the head and the person is supposed to shake and the person who get the most points on the pedometer wins. There are lucky draws too, but I didn't win any. =( haha, but I enjoyed the dinner. There is also a photo booth and can take photo with friends/colleagues with the available props. The photo can be printed and taken on the spot!! So Fun!! Here's the picture.
Again, shortly after a few days, I went to eat Suki-Yaki buffet at Bugis+ with my secondary school friends! =D Super full! This whole week have been eating, eating and eating. >_<! lol. After dinner, went to play arcade. I get to play Japanese Taiko drums without anyone stealing the machine for themselves! Every time, there will be people hogging at the only Taiko drum machine in the arcade. At Bugis+, there are 4-5 such machines and no one is playing at all! So happy! After playing, my hand hurts >_< must be grabbing on the drumstick too much and I have not been playing it for a long time. Haha. After that, we saw the Mochi Sweets shop. The mochi all looked to nice!! But then, $2.50~$2.80 each. T_T Anyway, me and my boyfriend bought a box consisting of 6 mochi. Here's the pic:
The flavours we bought are Honey Lemon, Sakura, Red Bean, Cream Chocolate, Peach and Green Tea. So far, I ate the Sakura's one. At first when I ate it, it was like a rock as it was taken out from the freezer. While looking at the mochi and wondering when I could eat it, my evil boyfriend took a photo of me without me noticing!! ;>_<;
He was laughing at me lor! So evil! T_T
Anyway, the mochi was really good. Texture, taste and sweetness all blend well together! I hope to buy it again! ^_^

Planning Overseas 2015 Trip
So Happy!! I'm going for overseas trip with my boyfriend next year! We are either going to pre-wedding photo shoot at Taiwan or at Japan. Here's the link for wedding planner at Taiwan: http://www.jinghua.com.tw/ and here's the link for wedding planner at http://www.la-viephotography.com/index2.html. For the Taiwan's one, we just happened to see it while walking around in Bugis+, as for the one at Japan, it was recommended by my Japanese classmate. Seriously, I would really want to go to Japan for the shooting but if it was too expensive, I might really go to Taiwan instead. If we do go to Taiwan, we will shoot there and take an airplane to Japan for holiday.
Different from my Japan trip last year where I only go around Harajuku, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Asakusa in Tokyo, this time, I will be going Tokyo, Kobe, Kyoto and possibly Osaka too. I found a great place for private hotspring at Kobe!! Here's the link for the hotspring, http://www.taketoritei.com/en/. Looking at the photos, it looks awesome!!
As for Kyoto, I would really want to visit the ancient buildings. While at Tokyo, I would want to go Harajuku and Shibuya for shopping. Needed some interesting dresses for my wedding. Lol. Also going to Akihabara for figurines and stuff. Hehe. I'm so looking forward to it!!

Laselle Open House / Sakae Teppanyaki / Anime
Last Saturday, I went to Laselle Open House with my boyfriend as he wanted to find his friend there. His friend is a student of Laselle, studying Audio Production. I never really went to the school before nor do I know its location. Didn't know that it's just beside Sim Lim Square!! Lol! Anyway, it's an interesting school with nice design. I was given a goodie bag after registration. The goodie bag includes some vouchers (Zalora & etc.), canvas board, course booklet and pamphlet. The course booklet is with thick cover and full colour pages. I guess Laselle is really a rich school. Looking at the tuition fees for the courses, it's really expensive, though I think not as expensive as overseas study, as tuition fees are subsidized in Singapore. Tuition Fees for diploma is $5,400 per annum and for degree is about $10,500 per annum. I'm really interested in taking Character Design in Laselle but I don't have the money.. T_T Anyway, here's some pictures I took from the exhibition for Animation Art.
After that, we went to Sakae Teppanyaki for dinner~~ So yummy!! The shop had changed their menu. This time's menu is mostly seafood!! Shiok! I like it! Scallops, Clams, Fish, Salmon, Chicken, Beef~~~ And mostly importantly, Garlic Rice!! Here's the pictures!!

Random stuff: I'm so blur!! / Movie cancelled!! (Teru-teru-bouzu) / New websites
OMG!! I'm so blur!! I will be missing one Japanese class because of my blurness. So sad!! The thing is this, I had told my colleague that I would not be going to his ROM wedding dinner on 22nd Jan as I have Japanese lesson. My Japanese lesson classmate asked me to accompany her to 23rd Jan replacement class. I thought the 23rd Jan replacement class is to replaced for 22nd Jan, therefore I told my colleague that I will be able to go to the dinner on 22nd. But, the replacement class is to replace 29th lesson, not 22nd lesson. OMG!!! I paiseh to tell my colleague again that I couldn't go.. =( Also, I had bought some Lunar New Year cookies to share with my classmates, then I won't be going to my original class for 2 weeks, meaning I can only pass the cookies to them after Chinese New Year. OMG..
I was looking forward to an Anime movie, Love, Chunibyo And Other Delusions (2014). It was supposed to be released today but they decide to cancel it at the last minute. Look at the link http://www.afachan.asia/2014/01/movie-love-chunibyo-delusions-opens-16-jan-sg/. WHY?!!! T_T Hope it will get released soon..
One funny thing that I learnt from an anime, Kanamemo, I watch. It says that てるてる坊主(Teru-teru-bouzu)'s role is not to stop the rain from falling. Teru-teru-bouzu is a doll which is used by Japanese to pray for good weather. Look at the picture below.
From the anime, it is said that long time ago, there was a monk who has the power to stop the rain. Because of too many requests, the monk asked the people to make a doll to be a marker for him. Whenever he sees the doll, he will stop by the place to stop the rain. So interesting!! But then, after I told Japanese teacher this story, my teacher said that she didn't know this story. Hmm, I wonder if this story is true or not. Lol!
I found another good website which can translate English to Japanese or Japanese to English. The website is http://translate.weblio.jp/.
The usual website which I create online flash cards for the Japanese words to study didn't update the security certificate for their website. I finally managed to find a new website, http://www.cram.com/. So, these days, I am busily exporting the flash cards from the old website and importing them to the this new site. That was a lot of work!! Because of this, I didn't get to study any new words. >_<

(Busy but fun Weekend!!)
(It was really busy last weekend. But, it was fun!! When I was still a baby, as my parents are busy working, they paid for someone to take care of me. That someone's family took care of me until when I was 7 years old. Until now, I say call them Mama, Papa, Gege and Jiejie. Even though we are not blood-related, but they cared for me and treated me like their own daughter/sister. They lived happily everyday in the small flat (1 living room and 1 bedroom). When I have trouble, they helped me and gave me advice. When I was with them, I felt really happy and warm, unlike when I am in my own home. My mum is frequently angry and unhappy about every single thing and my family like in a depressing situation. So, I really want to thank my nanny from the bottom of my heart. They taught me what is called family.)
(My nanny's son's wedding was here. I'm really happy for him! Hope he and his wife will stay happy till the day they part. At the wedding venue, I managed to meet some of my childhood friends whom I haven't met for over 10 years. Last time when I was young, I often tag along with my nanny to her mother's place. Over there, I played with her relatives who are around my age. I really didn't think they could recognized me, but they did and I recognized them too. It's amazing that they still remembered my name and I remembered their names too. It's like 10 over years, you know. They even invite me to their grandmother's (my nanny's mother) house for the coming Lunar New Year. So happy!! Below is the picture taken at the wedding. ^_-)

(The sick me)
(For the past week from Sunday onwards, I caught a flu. But I'm glad that I am getting better day by day. The day before yesterday, my Japanese class started in this new year. Hi everyone, let's have wonderful memories this year too!)
(This time, the topic for my class is the olden days' economic in Japan, referring to the Bubble economic that once happened in Japan. Because, the topic is about economics, it's slightly boring. But, teacher shared with us something interesting. During the bubble economy, those years were weird and everyone was in a crazy state. For example, high school students taking 10,000 ¥ notes in their hand to call for taxi. Another thing which I think was funny was the word [baburu keiki], hearing the word sounds like [bubble cake] and I find myself imaging how a bubble cake would look like. LOL!)
(There is such question on our homework, [Every time when going to the bookstore, _________]. Teacher's answer was [Every time when going to the bookstore, I would go to the toilet]. We were like "Really??? Why?" Teacher explained that when Japanese smelt the smell of the books would have the feeling of going toilet. One classmate joked that if it was because the smell of the books is the same as toilet paper. Lol!! My teacher then says that it might be because of the ink on the books that make Japanese having the urge to go toilet. Another classmate asked another Japanese friend. That friend said that if that's true, the toilet should have a long queue, but in fact, the toilet has empty cubicles, then, where are the people who went to the toilet. Hmm, how does anyone think about this?)
Yesterday, I did the most ridiculously thing. I threw away my colleague's dinner, thinking it was mine. We have the same takeaway box and red plastic bag. After finishing my dinner although I did not finish everything, I went to buy drinks. Then, I realized that I had forgotten to throw my dinner box. Then, I just threw the box away, not knowing that it was my colleague's one. OMG!!! I know I'm very bad for laughing after I realized the mistake, but the whole thing was extremely funny and I laughed till my stomach hurts. I think I'm damned blur yesterday as I still having flu. In the end, I treated my colleague McFlurry ice-cream as she did not want me to treat her dinner. Sorry!!! ;>_<;

(Soul Eater) Completed!!
Finally finished reading Soul Eater, the manga artist had also finished drawing this series. I'm happy with the ending and the whole story line! Though, some key characters died in the end. =( There are alot of cute moments throughout the manga and a weird couple towards the end. For this manga, I like Shinigami the most, he is mostly funny but serious at times. He has a cute face too! Lol. His face is not like that at first, but because he founded a school and had scared a lot of children away with his face, so he created a cute mask for himself. LOL!!
Below are pictures with his signature "Shinigami Chop"!! Damned hilarious!! LOL!!

Friend's Wedding
Last weekend, I went to a friend's wedding (wedding lunch in church and wedding dinner at Toa Payoh Safra). He is my university khaki, in the same company as me and now in the same office as me. I'm happy for him! He said some great phrases of thanks and appreciation during the ceremonies. Being at the happy and joyous occasion, I wondered if my own wedding will be that joyous. But nevertheless, I had thought about what I would say on my wedding day. As most of you all know that I am not in good terms with my mum. I guess I would thank God first. He had pull me through all the hard times by guiding me with people I came to know through churches, several workplaces and schools. On my Big Day, I would like give God all the glory and praise.

Popular Anime, Anime characters
Lol. I was looking through manga and anime news. Today, I found 2 new links and here are some links which I will take a look once in a while:
http://ajw.asahi.com/category/cool_japan/anime_news/
http://animeanime.jp/
http://otakumode.com/news
Based on the news in Asahi Shimbun with the link, http://ajw.asahi.com/article/cool_japan/anime_news/AJ201312250036, It says that Asuna (Anime - Sword Art Online) is the most popular female character among the guys, followed by Nico Robin (Anime - One Piece). While Levi (Anime - Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on the Titans) is the most popular make character among the gals, followed by Usui Takumi (Anime - Kaichou wa Maid-sama!). I like all these 4 popular female and male characters! Interesting to know the current most popular anime characters. Lol!
I was learning to draw sakura flowers and I think I am getting better at it. Also, I tried to make a sakura flower origami based on this link http://www.origami-instructions.com/origami-cherry-blossom.html, and I managed to make it! Yay!! I think I will go and buy proper Origami paper and make lots of Sakura flowers!! I love Sakura flowers!! ^_-

A boring but fulfilling New Year!~
Had watched anime Sword Art Online - Extra Edition with my boyfriend~ Didn't really go anywhere this day, except accompanying my boyfriend. I really does love Sword Art Online (SAO), the story is exciting, sad but happy at the end. I have a friend who had watched the series thrice. As for me, I didn't dare to watch another time as I am afraid that I will cry uncontrollably. Was thinking of anime Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack of the Titans), I think SAO is still better. No idea why Attack of the Titans is so popular, but I still prefer SAO!! ^_^ Besides, SAO reminded me of the marriage with my boyfriend in MapleStory. Though, I think we already lost that picture. >_<
Had dumpling noodles in the morning, Haagen Daz ice-cream for lunch and Pizza Hut for dinner. Lol.. First time having such weird meals in a day. LOL!!
