Random stuff: I'm so blur!! / Movie cancelled!! T_T / てるてる坊主(Teru-teru-bouzu) / New websites

OMG!! I'm so blur!! I will be missing one Japanese class because of my blurness. So sad!! The thing is this, I had told my colleague that I would not be going to his ROM wedding dinner on 22nd Jan as I have Japanese lesson. My Japanese lesson classmate asked me to accompany her to 23rd Jan replacement class. I thought the 23rd Jan replacement class is to replaced for 22nd Jan, therefore I told my colleague that I will be able to go to the dinner on 22nd. But, the replacement class is to replace 29th lesson, not 22nd lesson. OMG!!! I paiseh to tell my colleague again that I couldn't go.. =( Also, I had bought some Lunar New Year cookies to share with my classmates, then I won't be going to my original class for 2 weeks, meaning I can only pass the cookies to them after Chinese New Year. OMG..

I was looking forward to an Anime movie, Love, Chunibyo And Other Delusions (2014). It was supposed to be released today but they decide to cancel it at the last minute. Look at the link http://www.afachan.asia/2014/01/movie-love-chunibyo-delusions-opens-16-jan-sg/. WHY?!!! T_T Hope it will get released soon..

One funny thing that I learnt from an anime, Kanamemo, I watch. It says that てるてる坊主(Teru-teru-bouzu)'s role is not to stop the rain from falling. Teru-teru-bouzu is a doll which is used by Japanese to pray for good weather. Look at the picture below.

From the anime, it is said that long time ago, there was a monk who has the power to stop the rain. Because of too many requests, the monk asked the people to make a doll to be a marker for him. Whenever he sees the doll, he will stop by the place to stop the rain. So interesting!! But then, after I told Japanese teacher this story, my teacher said that she didn't know this story. Hmm, I wonder if this story is true or not. Lol!

I found another good website which can translate English to Japanese or Japanese to English. The website is http://translate.weblio.jp/.

The usual website which I create online flash cards for the Japanese words to study didn't update the security certificate for their website. I finally managed to find a new website, http://www.cram.com/. So, these days, I am busily exporting the flash cards from the old website and importing them to the this new site. That was a lot of work!! Because of this, I didn't get to study any new words. >_<
