It had been a busy week again and I found that I had yet to finish all my Japanese homework. I need to finish before 12 Feb which is a memorable day as it is the first day of Further Advanced class. Lol. I had been a good student by always handing up my homework except for the last 2 weeks of Advanced class. Hope teacher will not be angry. =x As I am going to pass her a load of homework. Hehe.
For the past week, I went to a friend's ROM wedding at Chevrons Chalet. I had been to Chevrons before but I didn't know that the chalet is at the same place. The last time when I went to Chevrons was my secondary school Prom Night for Secondary 4 graduating students. I was happy yet sad. I was happy as being the first batch of students under my school, I didn't think we would even have benefits like Prom Night. I was sad as it was really difficult to dress up nicely and it wasn't my cup of tea to dress up. Anyway, my friend's wife is an Indian national. I think it is always very amazing to see couples of totally different cultures. I feel happy for them from the bottom of my heart and I hope they will stay together till death parts them.
Shortly after a few days, I went to my company's Chinese New Year (CNY) dinner. Company's dinner is usually held at Mount Faber Safra which is quite inconvenient. But this time round, we get to eat at a chinese restaurant (Ban Heng) at Harboufront Centre. The dinner was scrumptious with 10-course meals and we even get to eat sharkfin's soup! Though I feel bad for the sharks, but I do love sharkfin soup. Lol. Games were funny whereby tissue box is tied to each person's bottom, ping pong balls are inserted into the tissue box and the person is supposed to shake as many ping pong balls out. Another game is whereby the pedometer is wrap around the head and the person is supposed to shake and the person who get the most points on the pedometer wins. There are lucky draws too, but I didn't win any. =( haha, but I enjoyed the dinner. There is also a photo booth and can take photo with friends/colleagues with the available props. The photo can be printed and taken on the spot!! So Fun!! Here's the picture.
Again, shortly after a few days, I went to eat Suki-Yaki buffet at Bugis+ with my secondary school friends! =D Super full! This whole week have been eating, eating and eating. >_<! lol. After dinner, went to play arcade. I get to play Japanese Taiko drums without anyone stealing the machine for themselves! Every time, there will be people hogging at the only Taiko drum machine in the arcade. At Bugis+, there are 4-5 such machines and no one is playing at all! So happy! After playing, my hand hurts >_< must be grabbing on the drumstick too much and I have not been playing it for a long time. Haha. After that, we saw the Mochi Sweets shop. The mochi all looked to nice!! But then, $2.50~$2.80 each. T_T Anyway, me and my boyfriend bought a box consisting of 6 mochi. Here's the pic:
The flavours we bought are Honey Lemon, Sakura, Red Bean, Cream Chocolate, Peach and Green Tea. So far, I ate the Sakura's one. At first when I ate it, it was like a rock as it was taken out from the freezer. While looking at the mochi and wondering when I could eat it, my evil boyfriend took a photo of me without me noticing!! ;>_<;
He was laughing at me lor! So evil! T_T
Anyway, the mochi was really good. Texture, taste and sweetness all blend well together! I hope to buy it again! ^_^
