Cardcaptor Sakura Lottery / Drawing from Penpal / Guardians of the Galaxy / LINE Play

Recently, I saw a Cardcaptor Sakura merchandise selling at NEX, Serangoon for $9.90. It's the lottery-kind. I love Cardcaptor Sakura, so I can't help but wanting to try my luck. =x I really hoped to get one of the figures.. But, as my luck is really bad.. I got a handkerchief instead. T_T

If I see it in Japan, really want to try my luck again!!

I received many letters from my Japanese penpals. I am very happy to be able to exchange letters with them!! ^_^ They had given me lots of gifts such as cards, stickers, memos! I feel really happy by the wonderful things they have given me. Recently, I received a drawing instead. First time, a penpal drew my favourite characters for me! ^_^ So, I decided to draw one from her favourite anime for her. =D I think my drawing is not as good as her. Hope she like it. =x

Last weekend, I watched "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie with my boyfriend. I never really liked Marvel movies, but I guess this movie is quite ok.

I like the characters of the raccoon and the tree, Groot. They are so funny! The raccoon is so good at hacking into systems and building new electronic devices.

Groot has lack of vocabulary in speech. He can only say 4 words throughout the whole movie, that is, "I", "am", "Groot", "We". His simple 4 syllabus can mean different sentences and only the raccoon understands him. Lol!!

I just changed my LINE Play character's clothing to a Christmas feel!! I also changed the eyes of my character. I added some furniture for Christmas too!

Is my new character cute? (x.X)

先週の日本語クラスで先生とユルキャラーの話をしていた。「ユル」の言葉はブランドがないイメージです。ユルキャラーはマスコットとして、日本の各市にある。そして、日本語の学校でファダーアドバンスの授業をやっている先生の出身地のユルキャラーはどちらが人気があるのかと投票しました。それで、三つのユルキャラーがあった。

 (Last week's Japanese lesson, my class was talking about Yuru characters our teacher. "Yuru" the word has the image of no brand. As mascot, Yuru characters are in every prefecture in Japan. Then, there was voting on which Further Advanced class' teachers' hometown's Yuru characters were the most popular. There were 3 of the characters.

Yay! 2 Weeks of Leave! / MacDonald's One Piece Figure

Lol, I just gotten my 2 weeks of leave. It was to clear my last year's leave by this year end. However, while on leave, I will going to my student's house more often to teach him. Hope that I can clear all the famous school papers which we didn't manage to clear before this year's exam. =x Hope to start teaching him Primary 6 soon, so that we can catch up. Lol! This will be the last year to teach my student. Really a long time had passed. I have been teaching this student since he was in K2. 6 years just passed like that. My wish is that he can passed PSLE with flying colours. Really glad that he is able to go through Primary 5 smoothly. ^_^

Also, I'm going to continue watching One Piece and finish doing my Christmas presents!! I watched till Thriller Bark (ghost ship) arc so far. This arc is really scary... Souls being taken out of the body and put into a zombie body, and the new zombie body has no memories of the original body. Shadows of people are able to be taken away as well.. People with their shadows taken away from them will melt under the sunlight. Scary!!! But Luffy's new nakama, Skeleton Brook appears! He's so funny! Lol!!

By the way, this time, MacDonald is selling One Piece figures at SGD2.95 except for the ship at SGD3.95!

I just gotten 2 of the figures! Robin and Zoro!! ^_^

お金持ちになったおばあさんとおじいさん ！(Rich Elderly couple) ／ＵターンとＩターン ("U-turn" and "I-turn") ／アニメと漫画：アオハライド (Anime/Manga: Ao Haru Ride)

昨日の日本語のクラスで、先生は面白い話をした。ある田舎に住んでいるおじいさんとおばあさんはＩＰＡＤかコンピューターを使用して、田舎の拾われた葉っぱをインタネットで販売している。日本人は飾り物が好きで、都会にはそんなものがなくて、それで、レストランさえそれを注文されて、たくさんのお金を稼げたそうです。

(In yesterday's Japanese class, we were told of some interesting stories from our teacher. There lives an elderly couple living in the countryside, using IPAD and computer and selling the leaves they picked up near their place on the Internet. As Japanese likes decorations and there are no such leaves in the city area, even restaurants ordered from them, and they seemed to earn a lot from it.)

おじいさんとおばあさんはすごいと思う。うちの母と父はコンピューターをそんなにうまく使用できない。

(I think the elderly couple is amazing. My mum and dad cannot even use the computer this well.)

「Ｕターン」と「Ｉターン」の言葉は始めて聞いた。「Ｕターン」―田舎に生まれた日本人は都会に引っ越して、そこで仕事をして、退職したと、田舎はいいと思って、田舎に戻したことです。「Ｉターン」―都会に生まれた日本人は退職したと、田舎はいいと思って、田舎に引っ越したことです。

(This is the first time that I heard of "U-turn" and "I-turn". "U-turn" refers to the Japanese who were born in the countryside, but had moved to the city area to work, and when they retired, they think that living in the countryside is better, and decided to return to the countryside. "I-turn" refers to the Japanese who was born in the city area, when they retired,  they think that living in the countryside is better, and decided to move to the countryside.)

それはとても面白で、退職するとき、田舎がいいかもしれないと思う。しかし、残念なことで、シンガポールはそんなことろがないです。私は日本に引っ越す？ハハハ。それは、冗談だね。シンガポールはどんなによくないでも、私の出生ところですから、一生離れないかも。

(This is so interesting, I think when I retire, I might think that the countryside is better. But, sadly, Singapore don't have such countryside places. I'm moving to Japan then? Haha. Joking. No matter how bad Singapore is, it is my birth place, I might not leave it for my whole life. Lol.)

最近、その「アオハライド」のアニメと漫画に夢中だ。この物語を読んでいるとき、悔しい感じをする。だって、彼女と彼の間に恋があるけど、彼女と彼はどっちも認めたくない。悔しくても、この物語を続きたい。悔しいだろう。恋は本当に複雑ですね。だから、側にいる人を大切にしないとね。しかも、彼らは間にお互いを気に入れば、互いを大事にしなければならないと思う。

(Recently, I am engrossed in the anime/manga "Ao Haru Ride". The time when I was reading it, I am feeling annoyed. Because, the girl and guy have feelings for each other, but they don't admit it. Although I am annoyed, I still want to continue the story. Isn't it annoying? Love is really complicated. That's why, we have to treasure the people near to us, right? Moreover, if having feelings for each other, I think we should treasure each other even more. Just my two cents of thoughts. Lol.)

私の彼氏の性格は「アオハライド」の彼とちょっと似ていると思う。辛いことを過ごして、マイナスの点がいっぱいあるけど、いい点もある。私も「アオハライド」の彼女のように彼はどんなにだめだとしても、彼を助けたい気持ちと側にいたい気持ちが持っています。そのアニメと漫画は私にとって、特別な物語だと思う。

(I think my boyfriend's personality is slightly similar to the show's male character. Going through hard times, even though he has many bad points, he has his good points too. Like the female character in the show, no matter how bad that guy is, we have feelings to want to help that guy and want to be at his side. For me, I think this anime/manga is a special story to me.)

Pre-Wedding Shoot Changes / Weddings ~~ / Freelance Jobs

I had just decided to change the 2nd location from Egeyama Park in Kobe to Kema Sakuranomiya Park in Osaka instead. As the studio's schedule is to return to the studio for the change of costumes after each location, I think changing the 2nd location to somewhere near to the studio would save some trouble. I wanted to change the 1st location from Sorakuen in Kobe to somewhere near the studio too, but the studio's personnel mentioned that the place similar to Sorakuen is only Daisen Park in Osaka. But Daisen Park don't have western building unlike Sorakuen. Therefore, I decided to stick to Sorakuen which has both Japanese and western buildings. Last weekend, I went to my boyfriend's friend's wedding and attended my friend's wedding church rehearsal. I need to attend the rehearsal as I am her sister for wedding. So many things to do.. I was asked to help my friend with her gown while she moved around. We had already decided on the gate crash games and everything else. 

For those who do not know, for most Singapore chinese weddings, we have an important event known as gate crash. The bridegroom will wake up early in the morning and come to the bride's home in a car with his brothers. The bridegroom and his brothers cannot enter the bride's house until they complete some obstacles. Obstacles always include eating/drinking sour, sweet, bitter, spicy food/drinks. Other than that, games thought by the bride and her sisters will be played. The bridegroom and his brothers must complete all the games and given a certain amount of cash to the bride's sisters, then, they are allowed to enter the bride's house. After which, bridegroom often has to sing a song or read a list of must-do after marriage to the bride, then he can enter the bride's room to bring her out for the wedding. In weddings, bridegroom can said to have the most trouble. (x.X)  Haha.

My boyfriend's friend's wedding is at Bliss Garden restaurant at Singapore Expo. The food is rather nice. The usual food combination that has chicken, duck, fish etc.

Recovery from Tonsils Inflammation

These few days had been tough for me. My tonsils was so inflamed that I felt the pain when I swallowed water or food in my mouth. Really thank God that after spending $127 at 24-hr clinic, my throat had finally recovered after staying at home for 3 days. ^_^

I can finally enjoy my friend's wedding as her bridesmaid and the coming AFA 2014. For people who don't know about AFA, it stands for Anime Festitval Asia and it's the biggest anime event in Singapore. As I bought the VIP tickets for AFA, I should totally enjoy it!! Especially the 3 days concert!! Yay!!

Oh ya, I had been watching One Piece while I was sick. Managed to catch up quite a number of episodes although I am still far far away from the latest episode. I watched till epsidoe 290. Luffy and his crew are trying to rescue Robin from the World Government in Enies Lobby. It's so exciting! I think I will never be sick while watching One Piece.

Ridiculous funny Sogeking (Usopp transformation) came out too! Lol.

Sogeking even has his own song!! Which is so ridiculous as well! Lol. You can easily find the song in Youtube.

Luffy just got his 2nd and 3rd gear fighting technique. I like his 3rd technique whereby he will turn into Chibi Luffy (Mini Luffy). So cute!!!
