夏祭り２０１４ (Natsu Matsuri 2014) ／妊婦服のオンライン店 (Maternity Clothes Online Shop) ／ジブリの映画 (Gibli Movies) ／アニメ･ノラガミ (Anime: Noragami)／アニソング (Anisongs)

今年の夏祭りは大変だった。人が多くて、食べ物を並ぶのは一時間以上かかって、ステージの演技が全然見えなかった。残念だった。しかし、友達たちがいたから、一緒に浴衣を着て 、私の髪を綺麗にしてくれて、楽しかった！✌ 来年の夏祭りは自分で晩御飯を持って行くしかない。

The Natsu Matsuri (Japanese Summer Festival) this year was terrible. There were so many people, need at least an hour to queue for food, we didn't get to see the stage performances at all. T_T But, because my friends were with me, we wore yukata (Japanese traditional summer costume) together, they even helped to do my hair, it was enjoyable! Seems that we have to make our own food to bring for the festival next year.

「猫の恩返し」と「借りぐらしのアリエッティー」というジブリの映画を見た。面白かった。「猫の恩返し」に人のように、しゃべたり、人のように歩いたり、する猫がたくさんいる！「借りぐらしのアリエッティー」に人のように生活している人形たちは「借りぐらし」と呼ばれた。残念のことに、最後まで、人と借りぐらしは共存できない。悲しいよね。

I watched Gibli movies "Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns)" and "Karigurashi Arietty (The Borrower Arietty)". They were interesting. In "Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns)", there are many cats which can talk and walk like humans. In "Karigurashi Arietty (The Borrower Arietty)", dolls which lives like humans are called "Karigurashi - Borrower". Sadly, till the end, humans and borrowers can't live together. Isn't it sad?

「ノラガミ」というアニメを見始めました。面白い物語だった。闇と光は人に影響できるよね。きっかけで、もう一つのことを気ついた。子供はいつも両親を守られたことを見えずに、自分をやり方が正しいと思って、自分を同情される傾向がある。私もそうだった。皆さんはどう？

I started to watch anime "Noragami". A really interesting story. People can really be influenced by the light and dark. Thanks to the show, I noticed another thing. Children always can't see that they are protected by their parents, think that their way of doing is right, tends to self-pity. I also used to be like that. What about everyone?

「アイカツ！」というアニメを見ているとき、色んな経験は勉強になる感じがする。このアニメはいつもすごいこと（人々の可能性は限らない感じ）を見せて、私をどきどきさせた。今度は、いちごとセイラは美月とみくるを超えるため、互いの趣味を体験して、とても頑張った。

(While watching the anime "Aikatsu!", I felt that a lot of the experiences within it can be useful for me. While watching this anime which always showing me awesome things "every human's possibilities are unlimited", it makes me really excited. This time, in order to surpass Mizuki and Mikuru, Ichigo and Seira did their best by experiencing each other's hobbies.)

それで、私は気づいた。彼氏と私はいつも自分のことをして、互いの趣味を楽しもうとしないまま、それは全然良くないと思う。いちごとセイラのようにすれば、却って、お互いの理解を深められるかもしれないね。^o^

(In the end, I realised something. My boyfriend and I had always been doing our own stuff, without enjoying each other's hobbies, I think this is not good at all. If we do it like Ichigo and Seira, on the contrary, we may understand each other better, isn't it? ^o^)

猫ばば？(Nekobaba?) ／怖い殺人事件 (Scary killing case)

今週の日本語のクラスで「猫ばば」という話題を勉強した。「猫ばば」の名前って、初めての感は猫のおばあさんのか？ハハハ。そうじゃないね。「猫ばば」はものかお金を借りてから、ずっと返らなかった人たちの呼び方。面白いでしょう！

(We studied "Nekobaba" as a topic in this week's Japanese class. The first impression of "Nekobaba" for me is "Cat's grandma?". Lol!! It's not that though. "Nekobaba" is a name for people who borrowed money or things but didn't return them at all. Isn't it interesting? ^_^)

最近のニュースは十六歳の女の子はクラスメイトに殺害された。しかも、女の子はクラスメイトの胸と腕の中心に切ったって、怖い！！警察官に質問すると、彼女は「人を殺したことがないから、してみたいんだけ。」と答えたらしい。捜査中、彼女の実話を知られていた。彼女は生まれたから、感情がない、不気味な子だ。若い年齢でペットを殺害した。お母さんは病気で亡くなったあと、お父さんは再婚した。お父さんは心理学者に「娘さんは殺害する意向がある」と聞いて、寄宿舎で場所娘に決定された。そして、こんな事件が起きた。結果は彼女は未成年者なので、死刑を受けない。そんな事件があって、日本で多くの人は若い殺人者が増えていることを関心している。

(Recent news is about a 16-year old girl who killed a classmate. Furthermore, even cut the classmate's chest and arms. So scary!! After being asked by the police, "I have yet to kill people before, so I just want to try it," the girl replied. During investigation, the girl's true story was known. Ever since she was born, she has no emotions and is a weird child. She killed her pet when she was young. After her mother died due to an illness, her father remarried. After hearing "Your daughter has the intention to kill" from a psychologist, he decided to place her in the dormitory. And such a case happened. In the end, as the girl is still a minor, she did not receive capital punishment. With such a case, many people in Japan are concerned about young killers on the rise.)

怖いですね！！とはいえ、彼女はかわいそうと思っている。だって、彼女はそのように生まれたくないかもしれないね。

(Isn't it scary? However, I think the girl is quite pitiful. It may be that she didn't want to be born this way too. >_<)

No Clay Workshop Again.. / Crafts / Food

My friends and I intended to go for another clay workshop last Friday at Red Dot Design Museum (Tanjong Pagar). In the end, the class was cancelled due to whichever reason which we did not know of. This was the 2nd time we had tried and did not manage to go to such a workshop. We really don't have luck with the clay workshop huh. =(  Luckily all the money had been refunded to us. >_<

Anyway, there was a crafting fair (MAAD - Market of Artists and Designers) over there and we were looking around. There are lots of interesting stuff like how cable ties can be made into necklaces, making your own rubber stamps, all kinds of handicraft bags, cards, necklaces etc. It was really awesome. We heard from the people at the booths that the fair is here every month. That's cool!

We also found someone who could gave us private clay lessons. We decided to go for it on our next free time. Can't wait to go!!

We went to Once Upon A Milkshake after the fair. I heard of the name, but didn't really try it. So glad that I tried!! ^_^ We bought Salted Caramel, Tiramsu and Durian!! I really loved the durian flavour!!

The next day, my friend and I went to quite a number of places. We met at City Hall, went to Precious Thots and she wanted to buy something from there. We then went to Precious Thots at Vivocity as the thing she wanted to buy was out of stock. After which, we went Daiso to buy some crafts. As Starbucks had the $4.90 Venti of Tiramusu or Strawberry Shortcake promotion, we went to have that while doing our craftwork.

My friend passed me her eraser and cutting tool for my first attempt to make a rubber stamp of a cherry blossom (sakura). It wasn't as bad as I thought, but after stamping, it does look like a flower, but not like a sakura flower. >_<

After sitting for quite long at Starbucks, we went to Plaza Singapura for Skinny Pizza. We had our favourite pizzas again!

When I reached home, I drew Kinomoto Sakura (from Anime/Manga: Cardcaptor Sakura) on a plastic sheet (from Daiso). I am supposed to bake it to turn it into a plastic keychain. I tried using hair dryer and it didn't work. >_<

アニメ：世界征服～謀略のズヴィズダー (Anime: Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda, World Conquest Zvezda Plot)

正直、このアニメはとてもへんだった。英雄はちっちゃな女の子。小娘は小悪魔の顔の縫い包みを持つと、力は何倍にもなる。

(To be frank, this anime was kinda weird. The heroine is a small little girl. With a devil-looking stuffed toy, this small girl's power will become several times stronger.)

おかしいでしょうね。アニメのタイトルの通り、小娘は世界を征服したい。とはいえ、このアニメは面白い。コメディと見なす、楽しく見てね。＾＿＾

(Isn't it strange? As what the title says, the small girl wanted to conquer the world. Nonetheless, the anime is rather interesting. Considering it to be a comedy, enjoy watching it! ^_^)

EOY Cosplay Festival 2014 / Marina Bay / Food!!!

Last weekend, I went to End of Year (EOY) Cosplay Festival 2014 at Marina Barrage. Don't ask me why EOY is in this month but not the end of the year as I have no idea too. =x

Anyway, Marina Barrage is really a place where not many people would like to go as it is not very accessible. However, the place is so big that you will spend hours trying to take pictures of cosplayers standing almost metres away from one another. >_< Not to mention, Singapore is really hot and humid. The weather even made my Sony xperia Z phone to stop me from taking photos as the phone reached a maximum temperature. T_T In the end, I switch my Sony phone with Redmi stimultaneously. =_=" I give thumbs up to all the cosplayers who can withstand the humidity in their amazing costumes. ^_^

This month is Singapore's national day parade (NDP) on 9 August (Singapore's Independence Day, Singapore's Birthday), so there is a NDP rehearsal at Marina Bay area. Managed to capture the people watching the rehearsal and some military boats that are going to the area to perform some shows.
