Had quite a fun trip with my good friend at Kuala Lumpur, although it was quite terrible when we came back to Singapore. I booked WTS travel agency at Tampines 1. As WTS travel agency has many branches in Singapore, there are even 2 of their agencies in 2 shopping malls in Tampines, I thought that I could trust them. I had been with this agency on my way to Legoland 1 day trip and it was OK. But, I was gravely disappointed for this trip. Not to mention the almost 3 hours of delay during departure, the agency hired a random Malaysian bus to pick us up from our hotel and dropping us off at Singapore Flyer which is not our promised drop-off point. I think I will not get a travel package from them again. =(
I stayed at The Federal Hotel this time. It's very near to Low Yat Plaza and Berjaya Times Square. This hotel is pretty majestic looking, I even need to put a deposit of 200RM which had given me quite a shock as I didn't know that there is a need for deposit. >_<
Walking our way from our hotel to Low Yat Plaza, there is a macaron shop outside Low Yat Plaza which sells cheap and delicious macarons. 8 macarons for 30RM!!! ^_^
We walked quite a number of shopping malls. Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Fahrenheit*, Pavilion. Thanks to my another friend, who frequently visits KL, for her recommendations. I feel that the clothes in Times Square is much more expensive compared to Sungei Wang. But the disadvantage of Sungei Wang is that the shops seldom allow you to try out your clothes, unlike Times Square. Sungei Wang is like our Far East Plaza, cheap but unable to try out.
Good thing about Times Square is about their anime figurine stores at Level 5, cinema that sells tickets of only 8 RM (about SGD 4?), Tamayaki (Takoyaki stall) has super delicious and fulfilling Takoyaki and cute packaging.

Maleficent is not bad! I enjoyed it!! |
Low Yat Plaza is like our Funan IT and Lifestyle Mall with all kinds of IT gadgets. There is a Japanese restaurant, Sushi Zanmai, which has quite reasonable prices and food is pretty good.
Lot 1 has Isetan branch, clothes are rather expensive but they have Isetan supermarket which sells lots of Japanese goods.
Fahrenheit* has a lot of Japanese-styled fashion which I particular like and I'm happy that I am able to get something from there.
Pavilion has all the branded goods, whatever brand you named, I think Pavilion has them. Lol. It's like our shopping malls at Orchard.
Despite my big-sized body, I'm really happy to be able to get 1 skirt, 1 blouse, 1 dress and 2 pairs of shoes. So Happy!!!
