Singapore Mini Makers Faire / Aston / Cash Studio Karaoke / Tampopo / Gongcha

Last weekend was busy again! My friend and I went to Singapore Mini Makers Faire for a Clay Modelling workshop. All of us were really late for the workshop. To our dismay, when we reached there, the organiser said that there is a miscommunication as there workshop only allows 4 students. >_< Luckily, the workshop fees can be refunded. Anyway, we continue to enjoy the different booths at the event. There are really lots of interesting things such as 3D printers, 3D Doodling, Clay Modelling, Robotics etc. There is a company named HAYSTAKT (http://www.haystakt.com/) which provides you the platform to sell your handcraft products. So cool!!

After that, we took bus 190 to Dhoby Ghaut, walked to The Cathay and had Aston over there. Aston really has affordable prices from $9.50.

After that we went to eat Matcha dessert at Nana Green Tea at Plaza Singapura. My favourite dessert!!

After that, we went to Daiso to shop. I really like Daiso! Cheap and variety of products sold. I found an interesting plastic paper whereby you can draw on it with markers, after baking it or hair-dried it, it will shrink to a plastic key chain. So cool! I've yet to try it but I will definitely try it someday.

The next day, I went to Cash Studio at Cuppage (Somerset) for karaoke. We sang so many Japanese songs!! This time, we sang a lot of songs from anime Cardcaptor Sakura. So fun!! But sad thing is that the Japanese karaoke box is not updated, so we can't sing any songs that are after Year 2012. =( Next time, I'm gonna make sure that the updated Japanese karaoke box is ready when I went over to sing!!

Mobile Games!! Knights and Squires~ Ocean Tales~ LINE Play~

Recently, I had started a new game called "Knights and Squires".

It's really a nice game for me as it is easy to play and do not need much time to play it. No need much time to play it because it has an stamina bar which prevents you from playing if you are out of stamina. Easy to play because you only need to care about the main character's armor, pendant and weapon and also your allies to help you in battle. Allies are only needed to power up or enhance. 

In battle, the group of 4 (including the main character who has no special skill) automatically attacks while just a few buttons need to be pressed for special skills. Each ally only has one special skill, therefore, there are only the most 3 buttons to press. Lol! Easy right?

(For manga, I'm reading "Tsubasa Chronicles", "Wagatsuma-san Ore no Yome" and "One Piece". "Tsubasa Chronicles" story is really difficult, I don't really get it. Also, I can feel real darkness in it. O_o "Wagatsuma-san Ore no Yome" story is so intense like real life. Really want to know how it will become next! I wonder if Luffy can defeat Doflamingo, really excited!!)

(My friend recommended me to watch "Seitokai Yakuindomo". As it's a little perverted, I can't help but wanting to stop watching. It's because no matter what kind of things, the Student Council President's head will turn them into something erotic. I'm really bad at this kind of genre. However, I want to know the ending, so I think I will just continue to watch it. The songs inside are not bad. I kind of like it. ^_^

最近の日本語のクラスの話題は日本の健康法。日本はウオーキングのレッソンがあって、びっくりした。色んな姿勢で、ウオーキングすることを練習する。しかも、有料のレッソン。シンガポールはフィットネスクラブがあるけど、ウオーキングのレッソンがない。本当に面白い。

(Recently, the topic in my Japanese class is the method/way of keeping healthy. I was surprised that Japan has walking lessons. It is to practice walking with various poses. Moreover, they are paid lessons. Singapore has fitness clubs, but there is no walking class. That's really interesing!)

Superb Busy Weekend!!

This weekend had been very busy. Last Friday, I went to Flor Patisserie at Funan IT Lifestyle Mall to buy cake. I had bought 3 $20 cash vouchers (cost $10 each) from SingDeals a few weeks ago to buy the birthday cake. Unfortunately, the shop's chocolate cake "Cacao Royale" had sold out. We were going to meet some friends later on, so cake is a must. In the end, I used 2 vouchers and a top-up of $4.90 for "Strawberry Souffle" cake. Then, I went to meet up with my boyfriend and our friends at Liang Court for Marutama Ramen.

That was great!! After the dinner, we went to a friend's house for the cake as we needed plates and tissue.

The next day, my boyfriend and I went to Cash Studio Cuppage at Somerset with my secondary school friends for karaoke. Cash Studio has Japanese karaoke box which is so cool!! The device is fully in Japanese. There are so many Japanese songs, more than KBox, Party World or Teoh Heng. The box need to pay additional $15, but in the end, only $20 per person, so it's really quite affordable. Sang quite a lot of songs. So happy!!

The next day, I went to Sistic to upgrade my Nana Mizuki's concert tickets from CAT 2 to CAT 1. I managed to get row I tickets, but it's at a corner. I really hope I don't have anything blocking my view. =(

After which, I went for my slimming sessions at Novena. It was not paid by me but my mum last year. I told her I don't have the money to pay her. It costs way too expensive. $5K. O_o but I did lose 10kg. Lol. I didn't really watch my diet. =x I just ate more vegetables and drank more water. I also went to a chinese physician to solve my water retention problem. I even went to Taichi class so as to exercise. I'm really plain lazy, so Taichi kinds of fit my situation. Lol.

After the slimming, I went to Flor cake shop at Funan again. I intend to order the cake and collect tomorrow, but they say ordering needs 3 days in advanced before collection. =( Then, I saw the chocolate cake "Cacao Royale" at the shop. I decided to buy the cake, but I forgotten to bring the voucher. >_< In the end, I went back home to get the voucher and came back to buy the cake with additional top-up of $22.80. Really luckily that I am using the adult concession card. If not, transport will really costs money. Lol. The adult concession is useful huh, in this case. Lol. After buying, I went to put the cake at my boyfriend's house and then went home. Finally!!

Arhh.. What a tiring day!! T_T

Going to enjoy the cake with my boyfriend and my family later. Hope it taste great!! ^_^

World Cup Frenzy O_o

Hmm.. Everyday, I have been hearing the World Cup stories in my office. I never really watch World Cup, not even now as I am never quite interested in it. But well, after the world cup talks in office, I began to wonder about these things:

1) Why host countries spent so much of their precious money to the World Cup? I think only the host countries have the answer for this simple question. Poor Brazil who spent lots of money on this World Cup instead of spending on their own citizens' health or education. In the end, they lost the World Cup. Many people were crying and devastated. What I heard from my colleagues was that, one of the Brazil players sort of gave up after losing 2 goals to the opponent team. We all agree that they should not give up so easily and they might just make it if they did not lose heart. Hmm.. Nevertheless, if I were their citizen, I would really be depressed too. >_<

2) Some of the matches in World Cup are fixed beforehand. I really wonder what sports competition are for is it's to earn money instead of looking at the players' potential. Buyers of the sports betting are really in a pinch. Lucky thing is that I don't bet as I always believe myself as being unlucky. Poor and unlucky people lost quite an amount of money. That sum of money is really wasted if the matches are fixed beforehand..

3) Singapore soon becoming a laughing stock due to an anti-gambling advertisement.

As Germany had won, Singapore's anti-gambling campaign had failed. Now, there are many threads leading to this advertisement after Germany's win. There are even lots of videos about it. >_<

4) Why Singapore didn't make it to the World Cup? There are almost no fans for Singapore football teams. However, there are one match by the Singapore football teams everyday. According to my colleague, other professional teams don't do matches that often and the matches are usually done on weekends. Is that why nobody is supporting the Singapore football teams? What is the point of doing a match everyday when there are no one watching them? Yet, you can bet at Singapore Pools (Singapore Licensed Betting Shop) for any kind of Singapore football matches.

In conclusion, I really don't quite understand this World Cup Frenzy nor the reason for creating football teams. O_o

Nana Mizuki's Live Concert Ticket - Bought!! / Cosfest XIII (6 July 2014)

Happy that I managed to get Nana's Mizuki's live concert ticket, thanks to my boyfriend. He said that the ticketing company Sistic's website crashed due to a high number of people buying the concert tickets. The ticket started selling at 1pm and was crashed in 4 mins time. Lol. I kind of expected it but I didn't know that it was that real to me. I also heard the people started camping at Sistic outlets since 10am. OMG!! Anyway, I am kinda sad that I only gotten the CAT2 tickets. >_< Hope that I am able to see Nana from that far.. Well.. She is kinda short in height.. I really really hope I will be able to see her from my seat.
