「旧正月」が来る！～ (Chinese New Year is coming!~)

こんにちは。みなさん、お元気ですか。最近、同僚の奥さんがこともを生まれたから、休みを取りました。私の仕事が増えて、残業も増えて、とても忙しかったです。でも、週末に友達とお菓子を作れるのはとても嬉しいです。お菓子を作ると、ストレスが消えるんです、私は。

(Hi, everyone! Is everyone well? Recently, as my colleague's wife had just given birth to a baby, he has taken leave. My work has piled up, there are more overtime work, it's been very busy. However, I'm happy that I am able to do some baking with my friend during the weekends. I'm someone whose stress would be lifted off after baking some sweets.

今年も日本へ行きたいですけど、企画がまだないです。それより、今回は香港へ行くかもしれません。夫が香港から来たのに、香港にいる親戚に会うことがないです。昨年、親戚がシンガポールへ旅行したとき、たった四人に出会ったけど。

(Although I want to go Japan this year as well, there are no plans yet. Apart from that, I maybe be going Hong Kong this time. Although my husband came from Hong Kong, But I did not get to meet up with his relatives who are in Hong Kong. Although I did meet up with four of them when they came to Singapore for holiday trip 2 years ago.)

暇な時間があまりなくて、アニメを見る時間が少ないです。ちょっと悲しいなと思う。「アイカツ！」を見た。「あにね」と「みお」はとてもかわいいですね！ユニットがちょっと解散のニュースを見たと、残念だなと思っています。

(As there are not much of free time, I am watching less of anime as well. I think it's rather sad. I watched "Aikatsu!". Aine and Mio are so cute, aren't they? I saw the news that they are dispersing from their unit for a while and I think it was unfortunate.)

残念なことに、新しいユニット、「リフレクトムーン」のほうがよいです。
(Sadly, the new unit "Reflect Moon" seems to be better.)

このユニットは本物の姉妹です。素敵な姉妹と思います！
(This unit makes up of real sisters. I think they are a pair of wonderful sisters!)

最近、とても面白いアニメは「はたらく細胞」です。体の中身を説明してくれるアニメですね！細胞とか、ばい菌とか、全部かわいいキャラクターになった。
(Recently, "Hataraku Saibou a.k.a Cells at Work" is the very interesting anime. This anime explains the insides of the human body! Cells, germs, all became cute characters.)

「ワンピース」の漫画をちっと読んだ。「ワノ国」は面白いところだと思います。日本の文化が好きですから、サムライの話が好きです！この漫画を読むと、いつも面白く読めるのはとても嬉しいです！漫画家はとてもすごい！

(I read a bit into "One Piece" manga. I think "Wano" country is a very interesting place. As I like Japanese culture, I love the stories of Samurai. Every time when I read this manga, I am happy that I was able to read it excitedly! This manga artiest is awesome!!)

昨日、東京に働いている親友がシンガポールに帰った！一緒に楽しい時間を過ごしました！とてもうれい！頼んだ「カードキャプターさくら クリアカード編」の第五巻を持ってきました！ねんどろいどを付き漫画ですよ！

(Yesterday, my close friend who is working in Tokyo, came back to Singapore! We had enjoyed a wonderful time together! Really happy! She brought back the fifth volume of "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card" as requested! It's the manga that comes with the nendroid!)

もうすぐクリスマスだね！ (It's Christmas soon!)

あっという間に、年末にたどり着いた。今年、二回の日本旅行があって、とても楽しかったけど、全部幸せな時間じゃなかった。体の中に変な嚢胞があっている。小さくて、危険じゃなくて、気にしなくてもいいと医者が言ったけどね。来年の二月にまた健康診断をすることになった。ホルモンのせいかもと思っている。女性は本当に問題が色々あったなと思っている。女性として生まれて、残念な気持ちはときどき戻ってくる。それに辛いことはそれだけじゃない。夫に喜びをあげることができない。怖くて、孤独を感じている。神様がいるとか、神様が力を与えるとか、信じているけど、やっぱり自分だけで戦っている感じがしている。いつか自分の恐怖に打ち勝つことができたらいいな。。。

(Without realizing, we are reaching the end of the year. This year, although I had 2 trips to Japan which was enjoyable, it was not always happiness. I have a weird cyst in my body. Although doctor said that it is small and not dangerous and nothing to worry about. I have to take medical examination again in February next year. I think it is due to hormone. I think females really have various problems. I will sometimes go back to unfortunate feeling that I was born as a female. Also, that is not the only harsh thing. I am unable to bring joy to my husband. Feeling scared, I felt alone. Even though I believe that God is around and God can grant me with strength, I still feel that I am fighting alone as expected. If only I am overcome my fear some day...)

小さいこと、「カードキャプターさくら」の「さくらちゃん」と出会って、一番好きなキャラクターになった。

(When I was young, I came across "Sakura" from "Cardcaptor Sakura", and it became my favourite character.)

とても元気な子、とても強い心をもっている子。そんな性格が欲しい。今年の新しいシーズンはくらかった。「さくらちゃん」の恋人「小狼くん」はとても感情的で「さくらちゃん」のことをすごく心配しているけど、「さくらちゃん」に全然話していなかった。そんなのはよくないと思う。次のシーズンはもっといい構想を待っている。

(She's a very energetic child and a child with a strong heart. I want such personality. The season this year is gloomy. Sakura's boyfriend "Syaoran" is very emotional and didn't talk to Sakura at all about his worries for her. I think that is not a good thing. I'm waiting for a better plot for next season.)

すみませんね、ずっと苦労ばかりだね。最近、映画を見に行った。会社のイベントで「AQUAMAN（アクアマン）」を無料で見たの。いい映画だった。でも、最後の衣装は醜かった。
(I'm sorry, seems that I've been full with my hardships.. Recently, I went to watch movies. I watched "Aquaman" free-of-charge at my company's event. It was a good movie. But, the last costume was ugly.)

金色と緑色は似合わないと思うか？ストーリはすごかったけど。小さいこと、「リトルマーメイド」が一番好きだ。母はとても厳しかったから、自由を求めた。結婚までの進路は順風満帆ではなかった。アルバイトのマネージャーのおかげで母と相談した。それで、夫と家を買って、結婚することができた。結婚しているから、自由をもらった。夫はありがたい。

(Don't you think that green does not match gold color? However, the story was good. When I was young, I liked "Little Mermaid". Because my mother was very strict, I was wishing for freedom. My road towards marriage was not a smooth sailing one. Thanks to my manager from my part-time job, I talked to mum. After which, I bought a house with my husband and we got married. Ever since I was married, I got my freedom. I am thankful for my husband.)

そして、前に見た「魔法少女リリカルなのはReflection」の続き「魔法少女リリカルなのはDetonation」を夫と見た。戦うシーンはたくさんあって、好きだ。夫は話すシーンと戦うシーンと混乱していることが好きじゃない。それはへいきと思っているけどね。ポスターももらった！すごく好き！
(Then, I went to watch the next part from "Magical Lyrical Nanoha Reflection", which is "Magical Lyrical Nanoha Detonation" with my husband. As there are a lot of fighting scenes, I like it. My husband does not like it that the talking scenes and fighting scenes are in a mess. Although I think that was alright. We got the poster! Totally like it!)

「なのはちゃん」はとても強い子！このアニメが好き。人を助けるために必死に努力する連中。

("Nanoha" is a very strong child! I like this anime. This group of people working desperately hard to save people.)

今年の「アニメフェスティバルアジア（AFA)」の三日のイベントにあまり間に合わなかった。金曜日のイベントへ行きたいけど、同僚の一人は休みを取ったから、私が取れなかった。土曜日は太極拳の知り合いの息子さんの結婚式へ行くことを約束したので、またイベントへ行かなかった。日曜日、親友と「K Seven Stories」を見た。

(I didn't make it for this year's 3-day Anime Festival Asia a.k.a AFA event. Although I wanted to go for the Friday event, as one of colleague had taken leave, I am unable to take leave. As I promised to go to an acquaintance I know through Taiji, to go for her son's wedding on Saturday, I did not get to go to the even again. Sunday, I watched "K Seven Stories" with my friend.)

「K」の大ファンじゃないけど、せっかく友達はこのアニメを知っているから、一緒に見ることになった。
(Although I am not a big fan of "K", due to at least my friend knows of this anime, we planned to watch it together.)

映画のあと、AFAを少しの間見に行った。
(After the movie, we went to see AFA for a while.)

六月の関西旅行：大阪 (June's Kansai Trip: Osaka)

続きのね！ (Let's continue!)

最初は京都から大阪まで３日の「KANSAI Thru Pass」のJRパスを使うつもりですが、京都から大阪までの料金はあまり高くない。結果、JRパスを使わなかった。「KANSAI Thru Pass」を決めた理由は連続の日ではなくても、JRパスを使えるから。

(Although we planned to use the 3-days "Kansai Thru Pass" to go from Kyoto to Osaka, we found out that it wasn't expensive to travel. In the end, we did not use the pass. The reason for deciding on this pass is that we can use it for non-consecutive days.)

おなかがすいちゃった！ (Hungry!)

アパートの近く。かわいい落書きだね！
(Nearby our apartment. Cute graffiti, isn't it?)

予約したアパートを着きました。
(We reached our reserved apartment.)

いい部屋ですね。だけど。。。今までこんなアパートに住むことがなかった。シャワー室は四角の形で、鉄とかで作ったお風呂は流しと似ている。周りは鈎が一つもないので、服をかけられない。夫のにわか作りはひもを使って、服をかけるように作った。お風呂のドアはちょっと透明なようです。このアパートはとても高い、しかも、最初に予約したアパートではないです。前に予約したのはこのアパートの半額です。あいにく、前のアパートはレンタル免許証が持ってないみたいので、一週間前にキャンセルされた。AirBnB以外のサイトで予約したのに、こんなことがあって、実に信じられない。日本の法律は本当に厳しいですね。いいことですが、観光客の私には不便だ。でも、日本は私の国ではないから、仕方がないね。

(Nice apartment, isn't it? But.. I have not stayed in such apartment before. The shower room is squared-shape, and the metal-made bathtub resembles the kitchen sink. There are no hooks in it and unable to hook clothes anywhere. My husband then do a make-shift and make it such that we can hook clothes. The shower room's door is translucent. This apartment is very expensive, not to mention, it is not the first apartment which we booked. The apartment we booked earlier was half of this apartment's price. Unfortunately, as the apartment we booked earlier does not have license, it was being cancelled a week ago. Even though I booked the apartment via websites which is not AirBnB, there's still such a thing happening, it's really unbelievable. Japan's law is really strict. Although it is a good thing, it creates inconvenience for tourists like me. Anyway, as Japan is not my country, there is no choice.)

もう夜だから、焼きそばとかお好み焼きとか買いに行った。それは晩御飯。
(Since it is now night-time, we went to buy Yakisoba and/or Okonomiyaki. And that's for dinner.)

あしたはユニバーサルスタジオヘ行く！
(We are going Universal studio tomorrow!)

ユニバーサルスタジオに着いた。入ったのは今回を含めて、ここにはもう二回です。前回に入ったのはクリスマスのとき。そのときのイルミネーションはとても美しかった。寒かったけど、すごく楽しかった。

(We reached Universal Studios. Including this time, this is my second time here. The previous time I was here, was during Christmas. The illumination at that time was beautiful. Although it was cold, it was very enjoyable.)

今回はスペシャルイベントがあったね！「ファイナルファンタジー」、「湖南」、「セーラームーン」、「モンスターハンター」の特別なイベント！

(There's special event this time! Special events of  "Final Fantasy", "Konan", "Sailor Moon" and "Monster Hunter"!)

「ファイナルファンタジー」のライドは怖いと聞いたので、円い腰掛けでみんなの荷物を見守って待っていた。夫は友達と友達の弟さんと三人で乗った。友達はちょいっと怖いと言った。入ってないこと、ホッとした。

(As I heard that "Final Fantasy" ride is scary, I was waiting at the circular bench while looking after everyone's belongings. My husband took the ride with my friend and her brother. My friend said that it was slightly scary. I was relieved that I did not take it.)

「ファイナルファンタジー」の「チョコボ」のポップコーン箱はかわいくて、買ってしまった。(笑）
("Final Fantasy's Chocobo" Popcorn Box is so cute, that I bought it. Hahaha..)

その箱はどこでも売っていないから、買ったことはよかったです。
(As the box is not sold anywhere else, I'm glad that I bought it.)

「モンスターハンター」に入る時間はまだあるから、散歩しよう！
(As there's still time before entering "Monster Hunter", let's go for a walk!)

やっぱり、寒い日のほうがいいです。夏には「ハリーポッターワールド」の雰囲気はないです。
(As I thought, it will be better on a cold day. There is no good atmosphere of "Harry Potter Word" in summer.)

バタービールははじめて飲んだ。アルコールが入っていないことはいま初めて知った。美味しかった！
(Drinking "Butterbeer" for the first time. This is my first time knowing that there is no alcohol in it. Tasty!)

夫は美味しそうに飲んでいたね。
(My husband is drinking it like it's so tasty.)

(We are doing "Castle Walk" again this time!)

「モンスターハンター」のアトラクションはあるアイテムを持って、デッカイ映像を見ながら、モンスターたちを倒す。アイテムは映像を通して、様々の武器を変えれる。モンスターたちを倒すことを夢中だし、アナウンサーの日本語を聞くとも分からないし、写真をを撮るとき、誰でもカメラの方に向いていない。残念です。でも、いい経験だった。プレイステーションでの「モンスターハンター」のゲームは夫だけしている。私は夫がそのゲームをしている姿を見ているだけです。

("Monster Hunter" attraction is where we take a certain item, while looking at the huge video screen, we bring down the monsters. The item is showed on the video screen where you can change various weapons. While we are concentrating on taking down the monsters and not understanding the Japanese language from the announcer, we did not look towards the camera when taking photo. Sad. But, it was a good experience. My husband is the only one playing "Monster Hunter" game on Playstation. I only look at my husband playing that game.)

次は「セーラームーン」です。私の友達は大ファンです。私は「カードキャプターさくら」のほうが好きです。（笑）

(Next is "Sailormoon". My friend is a big fan. I like "Cardcaptor Sakura" more. Hahaha..)

「セーラームーン」のアトラクションは面白かった。４D映像化の映画を見った。本当にひさしぶりに見たから、楽しかった。

(The "Sailormoon" attraction was interesting. We watched its 4D cinema film. As it's been a long time that I watch it, it was fun.)

疲れたから、ちょっと休憩しよう！
(As we are tried, let's rest for a while!)

「セーラームーン」のセットを買った！（笑）
(I bought the "Sailormoon" set! Hahaha.)

(As my husband wants to go shopping, we separate ways from my friend and her brother. My friend and her brother is going Nara to look at the deers.)

海老バーガーは美味しいけど、フライドポテトは美味しくないです。自国のパリパリのほうがいいです。

(Although "Prawn Burger" is tasty, the french fries are not nice. I prefer the crispy ones in my country.)

大阪王将の支店は自国にもあります！ギョーザはとても美味しい！
(The "Osaka Osho" branch is also in my country! The gyoza is very delicious!)

この靴のブランドは一昨日にテレビで紹介した。かわいくておしゃれな皮の靴を売っています。絶対見に行こうと思ったから、インターネットで調べると、私たちが住んでいるところから遠くないと知った。

(This shoe shop was introduced on television the day before yesterday. It is selling cute and stylish leather shoes. As I thought that it must be bought, after searching for it in the Internet, we found that it was not far from where we are staying.)

買いたいけど、高すぎる！
(Although I wanted to buy, it was too expensive!)

「ポケモンセンター」に着いた！
(We reached "Pokemon Centre!)

すごい！カスタム枕もあるなんて！日本に住んだら、絶対に買う！
(Awesome! There's even customized pillow! I will definitely buy it, if I stay in Japan!)

「ニーアオートマタ」のフィギュア！初めて見た！！
("Nier: Automata" figure! My first time seeing it!!)

「BOOKOFF」も行った！友達が行きたいです！
(We also went to "BOOKOFF"! My friend wanted to go!!)

夫と「サンマルクカフェ」で友達と弟さんを待つ。
(Waiting for friend and her brother with my husband at "St. Marc Cafe".)

友達と弟さんは遅いから、夫と別のところへ行った！
(As they are taking a long time, I went off to other places with my husband!)

晩御飯を「一蘭」のラーメンに決めた！友達と弟さんは着いたと、食べに入った！
(We decided to eat "Ichiran" ramen for dinner! We went in to eat after my friend arrived with her brother!)

実は「一風堂」のラーメンのほうがおいしいです。「一蘭」のラーメンはまあまあと思う。
(Actually, the ramen at "Ippudo" is better. I think ramen at "Ichiban" is only "so-so".)

本当に食べ物の天地！
(Really heaven of food!!)

今日の「汗の結晶」！（笑）
(Today's fruits of labour! Hahaha)

やっぱり、コンビニは最高だった！
(As I thought, convenience store is the best!)

ドンキホーテで買った！美味しかった！
(We bought this at Donki Hotte! It was delicious!)

翌日、帰国日。。。関西空港へ向かう。
(Next time, day of return... Going towards Kansai Airport.)

ソーラーパネルが付いている！
(Solar panels are attached!!)

空港へ行く前に、りんくうタウンのアウトレットストアへ見に行った！りんくうタウン駅のロッカーを使った！「チョコボ」はかわいそう！

(Before going to the airport, we went to take a look at the "Rinku Town" outlet stores! We used the locker at "Rinku Town" station! Poor-looking "Chocobo"!)

駅で蕎麦を食べられる。
(Able to eat Soba noodles at the station.)

美味しかった！ (Delicious!!)

駅で別のロッカーがあるなんて、しかも、もっと安いのに。。。
(There's actually other lockers at the station, not to mention, it is much cheaper...)

ドラゴン靴！面白い！
(Dragon shoes! Interesting!)

かわいいペンギン！NAMCOのゲームセンターで見つけた！
(Cute Penguins! We found it at Namco Game Centre!)

販売機！ (Vending machine!)

帰国の時間だ！ありがとう、日本！毎回も楽しかった！また来るね！
(Time to return back to my country! Thank you, Japan! It's always fun every time I came! I will come again!)
